“Though it’s listed in the Zoiglstube directories of Oberpfalz, Heigl is not a genuine (echter) stube. They serve either the Binner Zoigl from Windischeschenbach (I was told personally in 2014), or Wolframstub’n Zoigl (cited in books and online). The building is a cross between typical Bavarian watering hole and a discotec... I think they open up the back side at night for the kids to dance.... that gives you an idea of how serious these folks are about offering a traditional Zoigl experience. Definitely not a place to sit comfortably for hours with a beer, and not a place to go out of your way to visit given that either of the beers they are known to serve can be found elsewhere.“
