“The brewery is inactive as they found bacteria in some piping making the beer not fit for consumption and cannot find the spot. Think they have to break all down and start over. As this is the oldest brewer in Hesse and one of the 10 oldest in Germany a pitty. Hope they find an investor. Beer is brewed by nearby brewer according to tehir recepy.“

“The oldest brewery in Hesse, brewing since 1131. Classic German brewpub, good beers on tap, fresh from the "beer-cow". Old style decorations, filled with dried hop plants when I was there.“
