“Nice location, looks like an ancient tavern. Lots of wood, stone floor and a little bit dark inside. Well visited under the week. 3-5 own beers on tap, mostly bottles for take away. Food was good. Wort a visit.“

“New wave casual restaurant and bakery focused on hamburgers, salads, sandwiches and recently steaks. Hipster deco with lots of wood, exposed bricks and "real food" slogans. The place is enormous, so it looks always half empty. It operates in a curious way for a German establishment: at reception you get a card which you use for all your orders. When you are done you have to bring the card back to the counter and then pay. Also, there is no table service: you get a pager which vibrates when your order is ready, so you can go to the kitchen counter to take it to your table. Food is good and tasty (for Wolfsburg standards), with emphasis on house made breads, desserts, sauces, etc. but portion sizes are very small for the price. Regarding beer, they have the standard fizzy industrialized pils on tap plus some nice USA import bottles (see beer list above) which is welcomed here in Wolfsburg. Just don´t expect any knowledgeable staff behind the bar. You even have to ask for a glass when ordering bottled beer.“
