“Stopped in on a late Sunday afternoon, holday weekend. Place was deserted. Storefront loccation in downtown Pocatello, can be accessed from the main street and the street behind. Plain interior, generic bar. Kind of looks like an old pizza place. Speaking of which, they do serve pizza there.About 8 taps. Flights available. Beer went downhill as I progressed through the flight. Couldn't finish the DIPA. First beer was poured through dirty lines, and I had to ask for a fresh pour. it was only slightly better. very disappointed.“

“A nice taproom on main street. Parking on the street or in the parking lot in the back. A nice long bar with plenty of seating at tables. Didn't try the food but it looks good. 16 taps, mostly house beers. They also have a fridge for togo beers. Fast, friendly service. Decent beer.“

“A good stop in Pocatello. 36 taps, all West Coast beers, also a cooler of bottles/cans. A variety of styles. Good, helpful service, he helped me decide between 2 ipa's. No food. I'll be back next time I'm in town.“

“This is a modern, sleek taproom in a cozy old building. Feels good inside. I just popped in for a couple crowlers and the bartender was very friendly and helpful. I had just come up from Rock Springs, WY the day before so it was nice to see a more comprehensive beer list at Jim Dandy. They had beer ranging from lagers, sour ales, pale ales, stout, etc. The couple beers I drank were very well made, evidence that the brewer has some experience. It's always a pleasure to stumble on these gems in tiny, remote towns.“

“This is a quaint, wine-focused store but they have a few coolers of beer. A few imports and micros are available and there are a couple shelves devoted to Idahoan beers and most, if not everything, was available as singles. Prices are comparable to what I saw in Pocatello with the obvious, little upcharge for singles. The selection is far from vast but broad enough and all the beer is refrigerated.“

“Stopped for dinner and beers- slow Saturday night some music upstairs but not many folks in the place or coming in. Pizza was outstanding. Service good. Had flight of the 9 beers on tap- all were acceptable with no bad beers. None stood out either. The cream stout was best, Mexican lager was better than the rest as well. My take is eat dinner here with a beer or two and go to wanderlust for the rest of your drinking session.“

“Newer place I found on the web with 30taps! Yes! No food. free popcorn. Low key early Saturday pm, nice tap list, Melvin, ID brewers, Founders, Stone, Sierra Nevada, life is good. Bartender who is the owner knew the beer and is a great guy. In a strip mall area. Quality beer stop with a well varied tap list. I recommend if in the area.“

“Newest kid on the block in Pocatello. Bright and clean, modern industrial look and feel. Wood and steel. Nice long bar. 4 of their own beers, did not notice the guest taps. Food? I don't think so. Let's see if they can grow from here.“

“Located in downtown, right by the railroad tracks. Looks like an old warehouse converted into commercial space. Dark and cozy, a little worn around the edges. Nice tap list, mostly flagships and a few rotating handles. Menu was solid and food was great. Definitely worth a stop in Pocatello.“

“Last stop before heading back to Boise. Wine oriented shop, selection of craft beer in coolers. Not much here that we can't get in Boise, found one can to take with us. Probably the best bottle shop in Pocatello, but not much out of the ordinary“

“Interesting location with multiple rail tracks out the back door. There’s a small, uncovered deck with tables there for train enthusiasts. Inside there’s a variety of tables an booths plus a small bar. 10 beers on tap during my visit with a good variety of styles< most were good to very good but none excellent. Friendly, helpful staff. Enjoyed the nachos.“

“Stopped here on the way up to Idaho Falls and eventually Yellowstone. They have an excellent selection of local and northwest beers to build-your-own 6 packs. Friendly lady was working. The store has beer, wine and other odds-and-ends. Good stop if you’re in the area and searching for WY or ID beers.“

“They have a decent selection of craft beer. Mostly Idaho and NW beers. The walk in cooler behind the beers on display has a good selection of mostly bombers. Only a few blocks from The Grapevine. I always visit both when in town and find different beers at each one.“

“A decent selection of craft beers, mostly Idaho but they have other regional stuff. A few bombers but mostly 6/12 packs. Head to The Grapevine for a good selection. But I did find a few new things here that The Grapevine didn’t have.“

“My wife loves this place. I think it’s okay. They usually have a big dog wandering around, and it is packed with things. Beer things, wine things, art things, you know, things. Great make your own 6 pack set up, and usually a few options for growler fills. Cool little place.“

“Via Mrs. JoePeesie- My hubby sent me here to find him some beers we cannot get in the mid-west. For the area this bottle shop had the best selection hands down. They offer a discount on their mixed 6 packs. I talked to the staff about my husbands favorite style and they helped me find 8 bottles to bring home. The hubby was pleased with the selection and had only tried 2 or the 8 so I think I did pretty good!“

“Rating via Mrs. JoePeesie- Was on a business trip to Idaho State University and the hubby sent me here. They offered a flight tasting of all of their beers for $1 per beer. The staff was very friendly, the food was reasonably price and both myself and my dinner companion enjoyed are meals. If your in the area I would highly recommend stopping in for a beer and a bite to eat.“

“The staff was very accomodating right from the start. The beer was pretty good, many styles to choose from. The fresh baked pretzel was the best ever(dipped in blue cheese, trust me). The rest of the meal was fresh and creative. This place is worth the stop if your are in Poky.“

“Stopped in to try out the selection and grab a quick bite. Beer was overall pretty good. Penny was very friendly the place was very cool looking. As the food goes not bad. But if you stop in and you like brew pretzels you have to get one. It was the bigest pretzel I have ever seen and damb it was tasty aswell.“

“Cozy, renovated old warehouse with downstairs bar and brewhouse; upstairs loft with live music most nights. Beer flights available, about 10 house taps available out of the 12. Beers were good to excellent, and food was very good. Friendly and attentive bartender, but only several other patrons were present at my late lunch hour visit.“

“Old building in the industrial part of Pocatello, right off the city center and relatively easy to find with mapquest. Long, narrow seating arrangement is separated by the bar and kitchen. Old bricks, beaten hardwood floors, and exposed rafters contribute to a pleasant ambiance now that the building has been converted to brewing. I could see the tanks from where I sat, but no tv. Ehhh. Wi-fi is free, that helps. Friendly staff and good service, didn’t try the food. I found if odd that they had two brown ales and two pale lagers on tap (out of ten). Midnight Satin was on and quite nice. I’d come back, just for that.“

“I’ve been here a few times when in town. Smells of malt and hops hit you when you walk in the door. Not much parking, but it is a small place so I haven’t had any problem parking in front. The beer is good, Grog is a good IPA but not over the top. The staff is very friendly. Penny (BrewMaster) sat down and talked to me alittle about her beers and the brewery the first time I was there. The food is good. I would recommend stopping here when in town. I’ll be back.“

“Quaint place in a warehouse district or old part of town. Would be an awesome place for a loft. Interior was small but cozy ... luckily it wasn’t busy when we went there. Great music played in the background (old Nirvana, Modest Mouse, Radiohead) so I felt at home. Friendly service. Good beer. We only ordered some apps but they were delicious, especially the antipasto (or whatever it was called) plate.“

“Went and checked this one out while we were on vacation and was not overly impressed. The brewer must have a real thing for bitter beers, and the food was nothing to get overly excited about. Not sure if I will head back here next time I travel through Pocatello.“

“Beer and wine store on the corner of 5th and Benton in Pocatello. I’m guessing this is the premier location in SE Idaho. Nice selection of near 50 bottles, some imports (Germany, Czech, Belgium, Asia), some local craft beer, but mostly regional craft beers. It’s always nice to be able to make a mixed sixer. Tons of wine if anyone was wondering... Easy to get to and worth stopping by if you are in the area. Staff was quite helpful. Nice selection of glassware for sale at good prices.“

“Like Jordo said, hard to find. There was no sign up. Only a small piece of paper in the window that said ’Beer to go.’ Upon entering the establishment, there was no noise or people. At first I thought they forgot to lock the doors. Hello?! echoed out. A dog appeared. Nice dog. Sally was her name. Then the brew masters husband came out. Good guy. We got 5 samplers for free. Apparently there have no consumption liscense, so they are unable to sell their beer at this time. So, it was free. The brewery was small. Two barrels. I guess it was used previously to make soda. They pump out beer though. The place overall was nice. Their son does the artwork for the labels and they have the larger prints on the wall. Nice stuff. Overall I thought that with some work (which they were doing) it would be a pretty cozy little place.“

“This place was very tough to find. It’s in an industrial section of Pocatello and it doesn’t even have a sign. I could only tell it was a brewery because the address matched and there was a growler next to the dusty CLOSED sign. They were open however. Inside is fairly nice and clean, hardwood floors with lots of well drawn characatures of their beers. The bar is small but sturdy. No one was here and it was dead silent. Only the brewer’s husband and dog were there (nice dog). They didn’t have a beer license so they could only sell growlers or give it away for free. We opted for free samples of their beers. Good selection of their seasonals and some average to above average offerings. Surprising this place is still open. They plan on opening a food service. The brewery is tiny, 2 barrels.“
