“Formerly a strip club, this reformed boozer still retains, and plays to its past rough and ready atmosphere. Most definitely a hipster joint, these days. Low key, the cherap/cool factor is at play Approximately 8 taps of decent but not mind blowing stuff. Little Creatures, Toohey’s, a couple ciders, and some other regular brews are on tap. It’s a good selection but not a world beater. They have a pretty sizable patio out back that if it hadn’t been pouring rain when we visited (and winter) we would have sat. The food is outstanding. They do the American BBQ/comfort/pub food style that is quite popular these days and they do it well. Pool table in the main room and I think it’s free pool on Tuesdays. The barkeeper and bouncer were both friendly and easy going, which was nice. A real nice place to have some good and relaxing pints with dinner. I’d be a regular here if I lived nearby.“
