“Look out for the large blue shed on the right of Donges Road as the venue is poorly sign posted on a sharp left-hand bend. There is adequate car parking right outside the brew house door and, after passing by outdoor table settings, once inside there is casual table and trestle-style seating. At the time of our visit the atmosphere of the patrons was relaxed and jovial, but this did not extend to the two staff who did not attempt to engage with our party. At the time of our visit there were five beers on tap being a kolsch, a pale ale, a lager, a pilsner and an altbier (plus a non-alcoholic ginger beer). Glass sizes are 200ml, 295ml and 445ml and are value priced. Tasters are available and consist of your choice of any three available tap beers in the 200ml size and are value priced. The 500ml take-away bottles are also very well priced. The beers were average tasting at best and were not icy cold - that may be a function of it being a busy weekend and the presence of three bus tours on-site during the time we were there. Food is available from an on-site servery but we did not partake. “
