“A pricy steakhouse with a small collection of local craft beers along with some major brewery offerings. The New York center cut was over cooked even at medium. The salad bar was surprisingly good with many different offerings.“

“A large brewpub in Fort Wayne with a 1990s/early 2000s classic brewpub feel. I got a flight and a pint. Their beers were average to above average, some interesting styles. I really liked their cherry tart. I didn't get any food but I believe it is standard pub fare. Of the 3 places I went to in Fort Wayne (Summit City and Trubble), this was #3 but it is still a solid stop.“

“Located in a warehouse setting on the edge of a residential section. It's a pretty large place, lots of booths plus a bar area. I came here during a trivia night and it was quite hopping. The beer list was pretty extensive and we got to try 12 of their beers. They have some interesting styles (hefe with cucumber and lime, green tea honey ale, ale with peanuts and honey, coffee beers, to name a few). Overall I thought the beers were above average and quite good. Did not get any food. Definitely a good stop if you're in Fort Wayne. I liked the trivia set up too.“

“This place is both a cafe and a taproom in central Fort Wayne. The guy over the counter didn’t know that much about the beer, more about coffee, but maybe that’s just bad luck. They have flights of 4 and 6 for 8/12 dollars. They have 6 taps with their beer. No guest taps. Breakfast was good! Worth a visit but not worth a long stay or a second visit.“

“Probably the best consistent selection of craft beer in Fort Wayne. If you’re looking for something new/rare/interesting, this is the easiest place to look. That said, the distribution of new/rare/interesting craft beer to the Fort Wayne area is incredibly lacking compared to most other cities in the region. Every time I travel to surrounding areas I seem to find large selections of in demand beers that Fort Wayne gets a handful of cases for the entire city and are gone in a day.“

“Great place to go for a comfortable coffee shop atmosphere and good beers. The draft selection is only a few, but they are always excellent and he usually has at least one beer that is rather hard to find. Even though they have a limited draft selection, they have an excellent bottle list, as well as a large assortment of liquors, wines (some on draft), and some of the best coffee in Fort Wayne.“

“This rating is based on my first visit shortly after they opened to the public. They only had two of their own beers on tap which were okay beers. Their guest beers I had already rated. Service was good but I did not partake in any of the food as it very esoteric food which is not my thing and their prices are quite pricey in my opinion. I will definitely return as they have more of their own beers on tap. If one likes esoteric foods, then check this brewery out.“

“This establishment is a must visit not only for craft beer drinkers but wine enthusiasts as well. The selections are outstanding. The bar manager is one of the best I have encountered since I began rating in 2003! He has a great sense of humor, very much into craft beers and he will pick you up if you are having a bad day. They have good friendly customers and sitting at the bar is a good time.“

“Small beer bar with nice patio for groups and events. Service is great is great and the person behind the bar was very helpful. .The ambiance is based on 12 seats at the bar with country music on the juke box. They have a decent selection of craft beers that are not your common group of beers hers in Fort Wayne..“

“Ted’s wine bar is actually a terrific place to get good craft beer. The selection is excellent and contains many excellent craft beers. To many to list. The beer bar has an excellent server/manager who is knowledgeable and, funny, and a interesting person to converse with. They have 8 taps, a good crowd on a friday night and there is a lot of laughter in the air. A definite must visit place in the greater Fort Wayne area.“

“A good relaxing brewpub with pool table, dart board and music. The food menu is small and I have not ordered any food the times I have been here. The beer menu is vast with their own beers, guest beers and ciders. Their own beers are constantly changing to keep us beer raters visiting quite often! The service has been very good all the times that I have been here and some of them know me by my name now. It is worth checking out!“

“(Visited 05/2015): Mad Anthony’s Fort Wayne brewpub is on Broadway and Taylor on the southwest part of town. There is a parking lot next to the building.

A patio is outside, and the inside opens to a table seating area, with a bar running along the rear. Checkerboard floors, beer related stuff on the walls and hanging lights (and a wooden propeller) in the dining area. The beers on tap are listed on a board behind the bar.

In terms of beers, Mad Anthony carries around 20 on tap. Aside from the year-round flagship beers they have a lot of seasonals, and samplers are available. On my visit the selection included an Anniversary Ale, Sour Ginger, Hopsquatch II, Bent Rim Black and a Honey Cream Ale. The beers were all slightly above average to decent with nothing standing out in particular one way or the other.

Service on a weekday lunch was good. The server was friendly and knowledgeable about the beer menu.

Food at Mad Anthony is pretty good, my colleague and I both enjoyed our lunches.

Overall the beers at Mad Anthony are lacking in some areas but it’s a nice location with a pretty large beer list and solid food. I would go back.“

“One of my favorite places to chill and try something new. They have a ton of taps and are always rotating new stuff in. The service is always great, very knowledgeable staff. The food menu is small, mostly gourmet hotdogs and appetizers, but everything is very tasty. This is my default hangout in Fort Wayne.“

“came here since summit brewerks was a dog pile of noobs and I did not want to eat a hot dog with PBJ. Large seating and bar area near the heart of FWA. Not much of a crowd. Menu was the same as the Mad Anthony’s in Warsaw. Beer selection was also the same. Nothing wild or crazy but a few solid drafts for sure. I ordered the brats which were good, service was adequate. I may be back, hopefully my travel to fort wayne stops and people learn how to railroad otherwise I will be myself some more until people resign. they we can get some where.“

“Came here early on a thirst Thursday to grab some brews and maybe some dinner. Seems like a chill place with a decent selection of styles. the house beers are pretty mediocre, but fun none the less.food choices were lame, some hot dogs with penunt butter and jelly. many selections were similar. Service was decent. I will mostly likely be back since it feels like instead of moving to jacksonville i have moved to fort wayne instead. c u next week you crap pile of a town.“

“Been here twice now. This place has a small beer selection (2 rows and a few coolers) of higher quality among-st the sizable liquor stash. Always good for some three Floyd bombers and a completely different selection from 2 weeks ago. Pretty much a 100% stop any time I find my self in this toilet.“

“A decent selection of craft beers. Only a part of the selection are singles, and they’re almost exclusively bombers. They won’t break a sixpack for you for the other stuff. Nonetheless, nice selection of Midwest / Colorado beers in particular.“

“This place is set up like a 1950s diner. Nothing about it is all that great, including the beer. I didn’t eat, but they do have food. It’s unlikely that I’ll be back...even if I’m in Fort Wayne.“

“Stopped in on a Friday evening. I walked the mile or so from Mad Anthony’s so that gave me a little time to sober up. It’s located in a downtown type area. Street parking only. It was metered as well. When I walked in, I immediately noticed how busy it was, but there were some tables open in a back corner room that felt separate from everything else. It was fairly loud. It’s traditional Irish Pub decor with lot’s of wood. The tap list was nice and at least half of the handles were Irish. The rest were nicer micros like Bells, Founders, Stone. I ordered a Kilkenny because it was the only tap I had never had before and it came in an imperial pint glass with the Kilkenny logo on it. Pretty cool. Even though the bar was full, I was able to order my beer with just a short wait and take it to a sort of wall setting area. Prices were really good. Four beers total plus an appetizer and dinner for two for under $40. Irish fare for the most part. Both mine and my wife’s food was tasty. I would come back here for sure, but if I had any control, I would rather go on a less busy night.“

“Stopped in on an early Friday evening. The parking lot was full, but I took a cab here so it didn’t impact me much. Despite the full parking lot, I had no trouble walking up to the bar, sitting down, and ordering some beer. It was brought to me pretty quickly. I ordered a sampler and a pint of my favorite form the sampler and it was under twenty dollars. 9 samples and a pint for under $20 isn’t bad. The service was friendly and one of the bartenders seemed to be knowledgeable. Overall, it was a decent experience, the quality of the beer just wasn’t all that great.“

“Stopped in on Thursday Night. Cool smaller place with artsy feel. Staff was friendly without feeling forced. For a smaller amount of taps, I was very impressed with the selection. They had an outstanding variety of very good to excellent craft brews from brewers across the US. Had a club sandwich that was very good and served relatively quickly. Highly recommended for craft beer enthusiasts. I will return!“
