“Boston Brewing is quite a large venue compared to others in south-west WA. Despite a private function being on, service was as quick and as friendly as could be expected. They had their eight core beers and five special on tap, all fresh and tasty and at competitive prices. Takeaway cans are also available of the core range.“

“Strangely this is one of only a few breweries on the South Coast of Western Australia. The South West ie Margaret River, Dunsborough area is swarming with them. Boston are making great beers. Took them a while to move on to the ipa's but they're making a great red IPA (Devilslide) and a nice NEIPA. Have had a very good rye pale ale for a while. The setting is great, especially when there's some sunshine around and the food is also very good. Highly recommend this place.“

“The barman was awesome, grabbed the paddle of 6 and he threw in a ginger beer for good measure, enjoyed the selection of beers, the food was excellent, sitting outside on a warm day in a child friendly environment, spot on!“

“A great welcome from the staff. Beers selection was great with 6 beers available. the pick of the bunch was the stout. I had a tasting paddle of 4 beers (I missed the hefe and the ginger beer). The IPA was OK, but not a standout. The Dark Larger was good and the Larger was better than average. The stout was wounderful. Food was exceptional and exciting.“

“Large, busy, beerhall like atmosphere inside, which contrasts with the smaller winetasting area and outdoor tables. Ordering at the counter was a bit of a pain and took about 10 min as they were busy. All we had were chips, but they were very good.Beer selection included Dark Lager (ok), Hefe (so-so), Aussie Lager (good), IPA (disappointingly low hop presence). Two seasonals were a lower alcohol Ginger Beer (good) and a full on "American Pale Ale" (good) which was a bit stronger than normal at 6.2%. Tasting paddle of 6 was $18 (about a pint and a half of beer). Pints mostly $10-11. Growler prices a bit steep, at $25-$30 for a 2L refill.“

“Small bar/tasting area with an assortment of ciders. Tried one on draught. Pint is $7. Slightly cloudy, low to mid carbonation. Refreshing. Mixed cases of 24 a reasonable $90 or so. Shop shares property with toffee shop/factory. Small playground for kids.“

“Pretty simple shop with a small lineup of meads, honey products and homemade ice cream. Good for a short 15-30 minute visit. Kids will like the in-store beehive.“

“My favourite meadery in the southwest, ohh hold on, I think it is the only one. Just out of Denmark and in the covers of the northside forest of trees lays this gem suitable for the whole family. Recent changes have seen a new line of meads replacing the previous batches so a few great clean-skins were on offer when my partner and I visited. The glass-walled beehive was fascinating even for me and the range of products on offer including a lot of honey-based products was truly mind-blowing. The owner was there to greet us and was very knowledgeable, giving us a rundown on the health benefits of honey and its ancient uses. The bar was long, everything inside is wooden and gives it a clean but rustic, natural feel. Love the way they support local craftsmen too. Didn’t sample the ice-creams but walked away with a dozen bottles of various meads including their delicious Metheglin and Liqueur. Also managed to grab some very tasty honey and pollen which found its way into a Bragget I later brewed. Great little stop off!!!“

“Just off the main highway. Had heard of a cidery near Denmark but had no idea it was an offset of the Toffee Factory which, along with the Denmark Bakery, has become renowned not only with locals but tourists alike. Small shop in itself, big lawdy elephants statue out front being its trademark mascots, lines of its cider ready to go in six packs on the wall. Bar is small, quaint, and designed more for people to take home than sample in! Enjoyed there cider, perry and ginger cider along with some fantastic toffees, caramels and other treats I just had to grab for take home gluttony. Ciders were pleasing, suited more for an afternoon watching the sunset in Exmouth than watching the rain come in in Denmark. Good for the whole family passing through this way.“

“It’s funny, I never rated the meads (and I tried them all and bought a bottle of Metheglin), but here I am rating the place. A fun stop for the whole family. The kids will love the glass-walled beehive and the honey ice-cream. The adults will love all of the cool homemade honey edibles and handicrafts, and of course the mead! Worth checking out if you like honey even a little bit.“
