“One whole wall long wall of this store is craft beer (with the top shelves being very high), with some on shelves across the aisle from the wall. The selection is not huge, but it’s respectable. I give them slightly higher marks because I’ve found a couple of things here that I didn’t find elsewhere, or at least everywhere.“

“I come to this liquor store on a weekly basis, and I have never seen a out of date product, at least what I buy. I always pick up a different microbrew, and they have a great selection of them. I think they have the best prices in the area and there very nice peole. They alwasy hook me up with free glasses, and the place looks organized and clean.“

“You can’t go wrong with a liquor store taht has sixers of Hamms and Pather Ice Ale, especially when it’s only a few blocks from your house. Last time I was there, they had a bottle of Goose Island Pils on the shelf with a date of 2-18-03 on the label. Like others have mentioned, they carry tons of Eastern European beers, but that’s about all they are worth. Everything else is covered in dust and is typically several years old. This is the place to go if you want a good price on liquor, or if you want cheap beer. They are fantastic people though.“

“The ambience of the place came across a little seedy, but the selection made me wish I knew the Cyrillic alphabet. I thought there could have been a broader selection in the coolers, but the aisle shelves were well stocked. Prices were very reasonable, plus there’s a 10% discount on single bottles if you purchase 6 or more. I’ll be back. (Watch for old bottles... they don’t rotate the selection as often as they should. I just saw some singles that had "Best By" dates that were 3 years old!)“

“Here’s an interesting place to shop for those of you who’ve been wondering where to buy obscure eastern European beers. They’ve got sixers and lots of single sells from Russia, Poland, the Czech Repulic, Croatia, the Slovak Republic, and elsewhere. And they’re all fairly cheap which, considering most of their tastes, makes this joint that much more fun to browse through. Lots of other good beers from here and abroad as well as a large selection of liquors and wines.“
