“Nice brewery located in the middle of an industrial district in Lyons, Illinois. Nice tasting room with plenty of places to sit down. Multiple taps with plenty of beers available to taste. Waiter was nice and really helpful.“

“Nice "Down to Earth" taproom. Neighborhood Blue collar feel in an industrial area, parking maybe tricky, do not park East of the place. Nice folks, with a nice selection of ales. Get there early. I have tasted many of their beers and have liked them. “

“Passing through Chicago August of 2015. Recommended by the bar tender at Noon Whistle.
Despite being 90 degrees and no A/C, the place was a treat. The beer is middle of the road, but the bar tender was outstanding.“

“Updating my review of the "official Buckledown here on RB". I’ve been many more times since my original review for Buckle Down (my bad on the name...oops). Review is for the tasting room at the brewery, hours are posted here. They serve the beers they brew, which up to this point have been excellent. The tasting room is basic - a bar, with brewing facilities behind a wall behind the bar. The last time I went the bartender was Ike, co-founder with Sean, and I enjoyed our conversation. I guess I’d call it the "standard tasting room", though they do host live music weekly, which is pretty cool - gotta check that out sometime. Prices are a slightly high, but I don’t mind - how often do you get a quality microbrewery 10-15 minutes from where you live?“
