“Opposite the cathedral this is a Greene King concern but a good row of real ales including a couple of local guests from micros make this a worthwhile look when in the small town of Dunblane with limited options. Traditional in style but also chain in style, it's a one-room affair with the bar against the right wall and sports on multiple screens.“

“Coffee shop with dining and as the name suggests it's by the river with elevated terrace overlooking the water in the pretty town centre. Three cask, all by Cairngorm including a special for the venue are in three pumps at the corner of the service area in one corner. You can sit on stools here if you want to stay out of the way of the coffee and lunching denizens. Attractive bright place, looking modern in an old building.“

“Opposite the train station and slightly downhill towards the river. Despite its romantic name it's only traditional in ilk, this is a modern pub showing sport with split level seating and the upper part is more suitable for dining. The lower area by the small bar is where you can choose from an entirely macro keg selection.“

“Fairly large pub but only a couple of bland lagers available. Visited on a Saturday night when a (local?) guy was playing guitar - hard to hear yourself think never mind chat!“

“Nice place with 4 casks, only 2 available at the time of visiting. The real draw is the beer garden overlooking the river, very scenic.“
