“Visited on 4th December 2016. Last Spoons standing in a huge cathedral to commercialism on the outskirts of the town. Stopped here for breakfast at the start of a trip home. It’s a single roomed space with a ex Spoons over the corridor, it’s a Lloyds and the decor was pretty decent, lots of slightly raised seating areas and a patio outside but it wasn’t too popular in December. It was certainly popular with the locals and was busy. Decent selection of cask beers from Scottish Micros plus the usual keg and bottle range. Prices were good value, the food was OK. The only place on the database in town. Wouldn’t be planning a return to quickly.“
