| 54 /100 Louie’s (Bar) 915 EAST THIRD STREET “Just opened up in early July, and now the little town of Douglas has a new bar. The taps leave a bit to be desired. All I had was Ninkasi IPA and left after that. What this place has going for it is the fact that it is exceptionally clean and a super friendly staff, the two workers were cleaning while I sat there. Might be back.“ |
| 66 /100 The Island Pub (Restaurant) 1102 2ND ST “Overlooking the city of Juneau and the beautiful mountains in the back, one can go to this wonderful place in Douglas. Take a taxi if you’re a tourist and grab some suds and wonderful eats. I posted the food menu, however the 10 taps that they have are constantly changing from Haines, ABC, Midnight Sun, Ninkasi, Elysian, and Pyramid. The service I had was based on at a time not during tourist season so, it was very good to me. The value may be a bit pricier because it is Juneau (go figure). I’m always willing to go back.“ |
