62 /100 De Graaf van Gelre (Restaurant) MARKT 14 Beer selection is limited to a couple of excellent popular Belgian beers. Their household draft pilsner is Urquel, which is slightly surprising for a Dutch restaurant. Great food, friendly staff. |
60 /100 Café Brugge (Bar) VIJHESTRAAT 21 Quite a nice selection of mostly Belgian beers. A lot of fruity beers and two of the Westvleteren brews. Owner did not seem to be knowledgeable about beer though, resulting in some awkward moments. We did get a rather generous portion of snacks free of charge, which is something I always appreciate. It made us stick around for another beer. There are also some sandwiches on the menu. Ambiance is sufficient, but not very special. |
