“Visited after opening on Sunday. Old school all the way bar that almost immediately filled with what looked like very loyal locals. Interior is a bit odd, old, touch dark in a good & separated into two half’s. The latter is practical I assume since one half had a big tv playing sports. Very friendly service, good prices by NL standards. Selection was rather small, lots of Belgians, one or two German beers, a small amount of Dutch beers. They had some stuff new to me from very small breweries, tried one & it was interesting. They rotate those every month from what I could see. Solid local old fashion boozer as it should be. With a bigger selection, I would have rated this one higher. Nice recommendation by Benzai.“

“Thanks to Caesar, who told me this place existed, I visited in his company on a day which slightly unintended turned out to be a nice pub crawl. Anyway, the place is a bit hard to find even though it’s located at a central square. The selection contains a lot of the usual Belgian beers you see everywhere, but then there’s a separate selection of beers from some small local breweries as well as some ticks from foreign countries. I doubt the selection changes much though and as Caesar already pointed out they also will be selling beers from Muifel with a label that says "Happy Birthday" or "Abraham bier" in the future. Anyway, was nice to have visited once, friendly staff, nice cosy place, but if you’ve been there once I think there is no real reason to come back again.“

“Small gift shop with a small selection of beers. About 50-70 standard Belgian stuff, some German and local beers as well. Watch out for their own happy birthday etc beers, as they will be labeled stuff from Muifel. Didnt buy anything, but Benzai could still score a dozen ticks. Good for him :P“

“Nice old pub located in the small pittoresque center of Boxtel. Two medium-sized rooms, both with tap handles and loads of old paraphernalia on the walls, and a big lounge patio. Very friendly service, waiter was serving all the customers, but had time for a friendly chat while he was working. Had a glass of Smaak van Echt, which seemed to be bad, and he immediately gave a fresh example. This is how every bar should do it, so nothing spectacular we might think, but in reality not many bars do this unfortunately. Selection is mostly the well-known Belgians, a handful of local stuff and the ABT-beers of the month. Wonderful pub for the locals or if you are in the area.“

“Nice local’s place. The old men of the village are in the room on the right, always at the same table. The youngsters are in the room on the left, with a big screen TV showing football. Staff is very friendly. Beer choices are solid, heavy on the local stuff. Good place.“

“Nice place. It has the feel of an oldfashioned pub and while I was there there was a local beer club having a gathering.
Choice of beers is good, atmosphere was friendly. Wouldn’t mind going back again.“

“A hidden gem, just across the market square from bar Becoloth. Outside had decoration of empty crates, which luckily lured me inside. When entering the store you find lots of chocolate on the right side, other local stuff (like wine, oil, etc) at the far right side and back of the store and the left side is almost entirely filled with beers. Beers from Belgium, some Dutch brews and some local beers. Found some local stuff that I haven’t seen elsewhere. Prices are normal and the owner of the store is very friendly! Gave me a free bottle as well! She has a good knowledge about beer and told me she would like to expand but her store is too small for that. Who knows what the future has in petto, keep an eye out! Absolutely worth and fun to visit!“

“The small and cosy brown beer bar is located in the center of Boxtel. You enter the place and go in at the right where you’ll find a very small brown bar with just some tables and chairs. Cosy, brown, old and pretty small. When you go left you’ll enter a bigger place but was not open when I was there. The bottle beer list consists out of something like 95 to 98 % Belgian beers. The tap is more interesting, they got one or more new beers every 1 a 2 weeks. Small micro brews and most of them Belgian as well, but in my opinion better than the bottle list. A bunch of taps with always something interesting on them. The service is super! Very friendly, in for a chat and let you taste something , when in doubt what to order. The selection is quite common and what they show on the website is not up to date anymore. Personally I like the tap selection and the uber friendly service!“

“Nice small cafe, indeed with two sections. When I visited one section showed live football-matches on a large screen, the other section was more silent. Nice bar, decent beers, decent amount of beers and a good service.“

“A very nice bar, it has 2 sections, one intentional for younger public and the other is a brown bar. There is also a nice terras. They are very friendly. They know a lot of beer. And if you don’t know the beer, first you get a small glass, for your first impression. Every year on the second sunday of september, they got there beerfestival Biereloth.“
