“We called in while cycling around the island on the first super hot week of the year, mid May. Located just outside Edgartown and if cycling from Vineyard Haven it's at about the right point where you'll be thinking about a beer somewhere. Bike racks right outside the entrance. Nice wooden building, modest size I guess with a really nice patio seating area that is full of flowers and hanging baskets. It almost felt like sitting in a garden centre cafe. I got a flight of four, all fairly decent. They serve pizza as well, which looked good. Really nice stop off.“

“A pleasant enough place to visit, located on a busy road just outside Edgartown. It has a rustic appearance and there is a patio with picnic tables and games. You won’t be able to miss the big plastic statue of Bad Martha herself in the main room, and that is good for a smile. Unfortunately their beers are pretty bland (and served too cold) and I didn’t notice many guest brews.“

“Visited on a Monday afternoon around 3 PM. The place is on the main route into Edgartown, so you will go right past it if you are driving around. It looks like a barn on the outside and inside. Lots of bare wood. There is a good bit of outside seating, but inside there is only the bar and I think 2 high top tables. They had 10 beers on tap while I was there, and there was pretty good diversity in styles, even offering a barrel aged beer. I had a flight of 4, and they were pretty good. The barrel aged strong ale was the standout, but the other beers I had were done well to style. Very friendly and knowledgeable bartender. He may have even been a brewer there. He had a lot of knowledge about each beer he was pouring. One thing to know before com in here is that they do not have a kitchen, so they don’t have food other than some snacks like mixed nuts or pretzel rods and mustard. You can bring food in from outside, though, and it is no big deal. There are several restaurants within walking distance you can get food to go. Of the places visited on Martha’s Vineyard, this was my favorite.“

“Nice little brewery in downtown Edgartown, 10 beers on tap, some apps to nosh on. Helpful staff, a little too heavy on the retail stuff for sale, but knowledgeable about the beers. 7 beers are available on tap at the brewery only.“
