Staff is very friendly and enthousiast, sells beers he likes after tastings with friends, that’s how he got a rather large selection of Page 24. Also Uiltje, Jopen and the typical set of Belgians. Pretty nice store, you will probably find some ticks overhere.“ |
| 60 /100 Food Lovers (Grocery Store) SPUI 7 “ Loz noticed that this place was selling beers (well spotted Loz) I don’t recall it having any on our last visit to Edam a few years ago. Beer Lovers is a Deli right in the centre of Edam on Spui street it’s next door to the cheese place on the corner. We visited here on a dreary, wet Thursday 29th September 2016. It’s a nice little small to medium sized deli’ with the focus more on food stuff than drink as you’d expect going by the name, however head to the rear of the shop and on the RH side of the central shelving rack you’ll see a decent selection of beers. I never counted the amount but I guess there was well over 50 with Het Uiltje, Jopen and quite a large selection of Page 24 from France including many Black label Ltd edition beers. I picked up a new Het Uiltje beer (new to me) it was a Porter with coconut and coffee and the highest rated Page 24 beer on this site an Impy Stout unsurprisingly. It’s not going to blow you away with a mega selection but I think most folk should be able to pick up something new, prices were quite decent as well.“ |
