| 66 /100 Slijterij & Wijnhuis Zeewijck (Beer Store) ZEEWIJKPLEIN 25 “We only popped by this place because it was near the ferry port and was in the Good Beer Guide to the Netherlands.We visited Monday 29th September 2014. It could be potentially a little tricky to find as it is housed within a mini (and I mean very small) shopping complex, I think that I was expecting a beer warehouse for some reason which it clearly isn’t. It is about 1-2 miles from the ferry port and off of a road in what appears to be a largely residential area, but you will see this mini centre with a cafe/restaurant facing the road and an Aldi at the rear, you won’t be able to see the drinks shop until you enter. The beer guide lists this as having ~300 beers, I think it might just hit this total. The shop is a smallish oblong unit with the beers toward the rear on the central island as you look down the shop, Belgian beers are on the left hand side and Dutch on the right. I don’t think that you will find many rare finds but there were at least a couple of De Molen barrel aged beers. We picked up a few Duvel single hop and one or two others but as we’d been to two beer shops in Bodegraven, two in Amsterdam and one in Haarlem we were only going here out of curiosity and to kill some time before catching the ferry. Btw there is parking outside and if like us you have a tallish vehicle there is no height restrictive barrier. This is fine as a pop to if you’ve forgotten to go elsewhere, the lady serving was friendly, Credit Cards are accepted.“ |

Some cliché stuff but overall a very decent beer selection. Some quality brews, some micro stuff. Divided in a Dutch side and foreign side.
Prices are ok, staff is ok and location is ok. When in the vicinity, make sure to visit and you might leave with some nice beers!“ |
