“Over the last decade or so we have visited this fine little supermarket on many, many occasions as it is situated in the town/village of Landsmeer where we camp when visiting Amsterdam. The supermarket is located pretty much slap bang in the middle of town at a crossroads junction, there is a small car park at the rear. It’s a well laid out store and as you usually find with supermarkets the beers aisle is at the far end, however most of these are your usual suspects that can be picked up anywhere. What is of move interest is the separate beer section display at the end of the aisle that features mostly local regional beers, so Jopen, Brouwerij Ij, Tongval and SNAB. On our most recent visit (October 2015) this was opposite the bread counters. I always seem to find something new and must have picked up at least 3-4 without really trying so hard from this selection of 30-40 beers on our most recent visit. I am not sure how many Deen Supermarkets there are as I have seen some of the other Dutch raters occasionally mention them when rating beers but I guess there are a few around.“
