70 /100 Café Demmers (Bar) MARKTSTRAAT 52 Really small, but cosy pub with lots of wooden interior and beer-related stuff on the wall. There are eight taps: their house beer, four changing beers (De Leckere, Scheldebrouwerij and something else at the moment) and three standards which are available all the time. Some bottles are available as well, usually tasty but not that exciting stuff, apart from trappists also something like Gebrouwen door Vrouwen or De Prael. Didn’t find the prices for those beers, but at least the house beer was priced reasonably. The bartender (owner?) was a nice guy, but did not want to tell me where their beer is brewed. A few people were watching Tour de France on a large screen next to the bar, and the atmosphere was very pleasant overall. Worth a visit if you are here! |
70 /100 Café Demmers (Bar) MARKTSTRAAT 52 Visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon, sat outside on their patio. Small two-story bar, typical brown café, quite charming and cosy, but also a bit messy. I like that. 8 taps, one of them their "own" Vestinggilde Bier, brewed somewhere in Belgium, some nice stuff like Viven Porter. A few bottles, usual suspects but a nice selection IMHO. Food consists of snacks. Nice bar that I’d visit more often if I lived in Naarden. |
70 /100 Café Demmers (Bar) MARKTSTRAAT 52 Nice small bar in the historic centre of Naarden. Decent selection of Belgian beers and always some temporary special on tap or bottle. |
