“Visited on Wednesday morning, out of season. Not crowded, bought the new beer Ruuge Monnik and a few others. It was nice, service OK. Nice ambiance.“

“the sweet aroma of malts is present, nice place, great brewpub and shop with lots of their local beers,. the tour isn't that great compared to other breweries, however still a nice time when you're visiting Texel. Beers are ... well drinkable...“

“Quite large brewpub in the middle of nowhere with simple, conventional interior and a nice patio in front. The selection contains all of their beers as far as I remember, depending on the seasons though. The prices for those are decent, and it might be possible to order a tasting flight of four glasses, but they cannot be freely chosen (different taps than the other beers), and this is usually part of the brewery tour. The tour itself is not overly interesting, they tell you something about brewing in general and what is so special about their own beer, show you a movie about the brewery but also show you around. Since the price is quite cheap, I would recommend doing the tour before taking the tasting flight, and you get a free glass to take home as well. Because it can be booked out, it is better to register beforehand, but sometimes people cancel and you can take their tickets, so that you can always give it a try. The tours are usually held in Dutch, and sometimes in German, not sure about English ones. Still, definitely worth visiting when on the island.“

“Only Texels beers availlable. Only the usuals. Big outside sitting area. Nice wooden indoor area where you can buy bottles. Very funny waiter and some snacks are availlable.“

“Tour was interesting, though mostly a movie and a short walk through the brewery. They sell their own beer of course so that’s always nice. Prices are decent, over 3 euros but a pretty big glass.“

“Vriendelijk personeel met een duidelijk verhaal over hun bieren. Erg gericht op toeristen en de beginnende bierliefhebber. Al hun bieren zijn verkrijgbaar o de tap en ook per fles voor thuis. Bieren zijn sterk geënt op de Belgische stijl.“

“A pretty nice brewery and one of the destinations for anyone visiting Texel. They offer a tour in Dutch of the facility which thankfully doesn’t take too long before you can have some of the beer. Much more smooth on tap than from bottles, so give it a try.“

“Located in the middle of the countryside. You have to walk to the back of the farmhouse-like building, where you can enter a bar with a sports-canteen feel to it. Lots of people on saturday afternoon. Great atmosphere. Only a range of Texels beer available ofcourse, which are decent, but not spectacular or over the top. Must-visit if you go to Texel.“

“Visited today for a tour and tasting and to pick up some beers. Building itself is a functional brewery so not the most attractive, but quite touristy and even on this (or maybe because of this?) rainy day it was quite busy. (Probably very busy in the summer, then.) Pretty much all their non-retired beers on tap plus in bottles for sale. Bottles are super cheap. Also food available, but I didn’t have any. Tour itself is quite nicely organised. Ends with a 4 piece tasting. Should definitely go here when on the island (although there’s not much need to go here just for the brewery). Friendly staff.“

“We visited here on Wednesday 28th September 2011, we had cycled around the whole island and arrived here for a well deserved beer break, the weather may I add for late September was truly stunning with wall to wall sunshine. We sat outside in the sun, though inside was a decent sized bar area. Most of the usual bottles wee available along with the winterbier and also a few other accessories, like shirts, glasses, jackets etc. The building itself can best be described as functional, it certainly isn’t a looker, but the service, range and quality was all very good.“

“Visited late May 2010. We arrived too late for the last English tour, tagged along on a Dutch tour, the guide was kind enough to translate the high points. Definitely geared toward the tourist rather than beer enthusiast. Having said that, the beers are very good and the brewery is a must stop when visiting Texel.“

“Visited two years ago in September. First had the brewery tour, then afterwards visited the brewpub which is right behind the brewery. Bright wooden interior, a couple of tables, large bar with stools. I believe they had almost all their beers on tap, but I’m not too sure about that anymore. Large patio outside with festival seatings and a view on the countryside. Sympathetic owner, nice tour, good beers. Don’t know what the opening hours of the brewpub are, but I guess they open at the same time the first tour starts.“
