“A pretty nice place, with a nice lawn in addition to somewhat limited indoor seating. For now at least, one of the major pluses is that they're not nearly as crowded as the brewpub. They don't serve their own food, but they have food trucks at least through the summer, currently on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (and the Grow Benzie food truck was great). Same great beer as the other location, of course. Great!“

“Must visit when in the area. Was lucky enough to do so on a warm night that allowed us to enjoy the outdoor patio. There are several rooms inside...and there was a pretty decent live band playing the night we were there. We did not try the food because we had other dinner plans...but it looked good. There were "16" beers...and tried 12 via 3 shared flights. They feature many Belgium's here...of which I like many variations...but not my overall top beer category. I enjoyed the Cherry Spangles Saison, Confederate Gold (Belgium golden ale with peaches and toasted pecans), Thirty-One Planes IIPA, Whiled Away IPA, and Starbelly Saison (citrus, orange, lemon, lime, grapefruit). Stormcloud is a very worthwhile brewery to search out and include in any Michigan craftbeer tours (along with Shorts of course).“

“Stopped by and it was packed during the day, but it was the Holidays and a Blues band was about to start. I need to visit again and try the food. Service was a little slow but the 3 beers we tried were solid. Nice area to visit.“

“Went during week in October. Nice small local bar feel. Beer was better than average Belgian Dubble. Small menu but food quality was good. Had a flatbread pizza. Would definitely revisit.“

“Right on the main street of town. Nice selection of very well made beers - the only brewpub in the area but beers go well beyond the typical cookie cutter beers of many tourist areas. Great place. / Now have a menu with pizza and sandwiches - continue to offer flavored popcorn as well. Still great.“

“Easy to find location and found a parking space directly out front mid afternoon, good thing even late in season. Small newly remodeled location with bar in back right with a few tables along wall and front and patio on right front. Freindly service with good knowledge of beers and food. Good selection and quality of Belgian style beers. I will make a regular stop when in this area of Michigan.“

“Stumbled on this place while walking around Frankfort. 9 beers, a mead, and a cider (guest tap) that night. Several other beers seem to have been on tap recently but gone. Beer menu was comprised of about half Belgian styles and half American styles, which is great since I think Belgian styles could use some more representation at Michigan breweries. I tried five beers between a sampler of four and an extra glass, and they were all good to great! Menu is mostly flatbread pizzas with a few other basic options, plus some flavored popcorns (in large portions). Some focus on local ingredients. Our pizza and coconut/sriracha popcorn were both good, though the sriracha was underrepresented in the latter. Pizzas are available with vegan cheese and/or gluten-free crust. Most importantly, tabs and tables are designated with celebrity’s names, and we clearly hit the jackpot with (My Name Is) Inigo Montoya. We have a cottage ten miles from Frankfort, so I know I’ll be back again! If they’re this good just two months out of the starting gate...“

“In good location, storefront is smaller with a deep indoor seating area and a smaller bar, there is a large patio directly attached with just as much outdoor seating. Thoughtfully decorated, presents a modern clean look with some character. There were 5-6 beers on tap with some choices of mead and mead mixes as well as some wines. Serve some original pizzas and bar snacks, the food seemed overpriced. Beer was good, had a few interesting brews, some were okay, others were great. Seemed family friendly. Order everything from the bar and seat yourself. Great location, well done beer, will stop by again.“

“In town for a wedding and was super happy to find a new brewery. Even better was the quality beer, food, service and ambiance. Everything was great and I even had a chance to speak with the owner. Afterwards their brewer came out to chat it up. Wonderful people, super fun place, great food and great beer. Wife and I give it two thumbs way up! Well done Stormcloud! We will be back ASAP!!“
