“Small unassuming place. Limited space for seating and busy on a Saturday afternoon. I visited this after a round of golf with a friend. As others have mentioned, pizza is excellent and the beers ranged from average to above average. Just nothing super interesting. Small so no waiter/waitress. Just ordering at the bar. Nice place overall.“

“This is a liquor store across the street from Red Wing Brewery. Its a bit dark out front at night, but push on in. Their beer selection was decent - a shelf of limited bombers and 750’s as well as a shelf of 12 oz singles for a build your own six pack. The rest was six packs and cases. No TG when I was there; likely sells out fast up here. I really didnt see anything that would get a true beer dork excited, but as Jackl says, given its location its probably a good find.“

“Stopped on the way down. This place was (a) small and (b) truly hoppin’ on a Wednesday night. No tables, no spots at the bar, folks hanging out waiting to eat. I was able to order a beer and did my rating standing - a scottish ale that would more or less define average for the style. I can see this place being a lot of fun if you can actually get in.“

“Stopped in with a few friends to watch the Minnesota and Michigan football games. A nice outdoor seating area and a large bar space in the interior. A number of TVs but the were not particularly invasive. Place was slammed and service was a bit rough and not particularly beer oriented. 40+ beers on tap with a nice mix of locals and non local. Samplers available. Food was solid and prices were decent. A pleasant surprise.“

“Surprisingly decent bottle shop located across the street from Red Wing Brewery. The 200ish bottles offered a nice selection of craft, including some relatively limited stuff like Hopslam and Pseudo Sue. Service was welcoming and prices were solid. Overall, a good spot, especially considering its location in rural Minnesota.“

“A nice, small town brewpub. The solid house beers were supplemented by a decent selection of other local offerings. Minnesota-made wine also was available, which was a nice touch. Food was limited to pizza and garlic bread. My pizza was filling and well made, if a bit unexciting. Service and prices were both more than reasonable. Overall, I enjoyed my time here. The people of Red Wind are served well by this place.“

“A cool little spot on Old Main Street in Red Wing. A small place with about 8 seats at a wooden bar with an additional 10ish tables. Brewania covers the walls and place has a nice feel. Service was great and bartender knew about the beer. They had around 14 taps with seven of their own. Samplers were available for 2.50 a piece. Had the Spicy Italian pizza which was solid. Prices were decent. A pretty cool little brewpub.“

“Stopped in for some pizza and beer. 7 Red Wing Brews on tap, $2.50 for 5oz pours. Served pizza, garlic bread, etc. Food was good, sat at the bar and service was excellent. Beer is good and there was 8 guest taps plus wine available. Cool atmosphere, friendly.“

“Nice place. Smaller older building. High ceilings, which tend to be a little noisy. Nice bar on the left, glassed in area of the brewhouse on the right. A small amount of tables. They had 6 of their brews on tap, and I think 6 guest taps. Food is basically pizza, but interesting ones. I had a beef, cheddar and horseradish pizza. It was excellent. Had a couple of the beers and they were solid. A good little place.“

“An old building on the old main street. All ale beers. Food is pizza and calzines. Mu calzone was good but maybe a little expensive at $12. Service was very friend and happy to talk about the beer. I liked the old advertising on the walls. I would go here again if i am in red wing.“

“This place opened up in December (2012). Really nice ambiance, with beautiful wooden floors and retro decor. The two Red Wing beers I sampled, Work Boot Red and Remmler’s Royal Brew, were very well made. The latter is a "historical brew", made to mimic what Red Wing beer drinkers drank many years ago. They also have some guest taps, and that list was just ok. I’d like to see them ditch the cider in favor of another beer and keep the cider in bottled form. Beers are reasonable at $4.75, but growlers are spendy at $20 ($17 with growler return). Nevertheless, these guys are just starting up, and the early returns are promising. Definitely worth a visit.“

“Sweet spot! 6 house beers with sample sizes available. Guest taps, cool vibe - excellent. Lots of historical referencing and artifacts as well - this place is very well done. Well worth the drive down.“

“41 taps, nothing too exotic but at least a few worth exploring. Mix of locals and a few widely distributed micros. Nothing to go looking for, but if you find yourself in red wing and thirsty it will do the job.“
