“Small, but rather cozy inside. Relaxed atmosphere and great selection of craft beer, especially in bottles. Only one of their own brews on tap at the time of my visit, a bitter that was actually surprisingly good (usually not my first choice of style, but this time I was very happy). Central location, but not in the most crowded area. Definitely the best place for craft beer in Albir as far as I know.“

“So far the only oasis for serious craft beer drinking in El Albir. Not a brewpub yet, but the owner plans to have his first beers ready in a couple of months. There are ten taps, most of them from smaller Spanish breweries based in Valencia. At one of my stay, there were also two Finnish beers from Maku among the taps. The draught menu is supported by a few craft beers on bottles and cans. The menu of beers can be read on a white tiled wall behind the bar. Outdoor seating in front of a rather small bar room in white paint. A little brewery plant is located to the rear of the room. Indie and new wave rock in the back. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful service. Central location along the bus lane, next to the seaside, behind the large Hotel Kaktus Albir. A bus stop, no.10, outside for Benidorm or Althea. (Visited four times in the first half of April 2019).“

“It is not many places in Albir that have got a craft beer menu, but this burger place is an exception. At our stay there were 11 craft beers on bottles, one BrewDog (Punk IPA), and the others from Spanish breweries like El Cantero, Althaia, Arrica, Espiga, Tyris, and Freaks, among others. Five mainstream beers on the taps. Fair prices, about 3.50 Euros for a craft beer bottle. A stylish, post-industrial, airy room in black and white, high ceiling and large drawings on the walls. Well made tasty burgers. A small patio in front of the entrance. Attentive service. Located in the same building as Boulevard Apartamentos, not far from the seaside. Some classic Clash and Cure tunes in the back. (Visited twice with Frau Eva 04.04. and 12.04.2019).“

“A German-oriented brewpub/restaurant in the outskirts of the central El Albir, a little more than 10 minutes walk from the seaside along the main street. Three typical German brews; a weizen, a dunkel and a helles joined by a special one (rotating, I guess). Well crafted beers all of them. They are available in different sized starting with a tasting set of 125ml in each glass, and up to growler fill options (1500ml). Nice and relatively large bar/restaurant room promoting a new and quite cozy atmosphere. Comfortable, sunny, outdoor seating in front of the entrance. Should be good for food as well, we had a delicate potato tapas dish with our beers. Friendly and informative Spanish hospitality. Well worth visiting. (Visited with Frau Eva, 02.04.2019).“

“A well-stocked Belgian Beer Bar in the main street of Albir, located next door to the Norwegian Legekontor and with the bus stop, No. 10, right outside. Quite a cozy bar room inside, and comfortable, sunny L-shaped outdoor seating facing the street. The line-up of Belgian beers include a good range of trappist beers, and bottles from Huyghe with rich variety of Delirium beers. In addition there are bottled beers from Founders, Mahou and Althaia. Leffe and San Miguel on the four taps. Food, delicious cakes and coffee options. Friendly service by the tables. Thanks to visionthing for spotting the place. (Visited with Frau Eva 30.03.2019).“

“A café/bar/bistro in central Albir with a quite decent selection of Belgian beer. About thirty different Belgian beers in bottles and some of the usual Spanish lagers (Mahou, Alhambra, San Miguel). Best beer selection I stumbled upon in Albir, and even some Belgian beers there that I hadn’t had before.“
