| 68 /100 180 E. CHERRY ST. “Stopped in on a late Saturday afternoon for a late lunch. Located in the heart of downtown Troy, MO. Plenty of parking nearby, short walk to the front door. You walk through the outdoor patio to get inside the BBQ place. Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. BBQ was good, so were the beers. They brew similar beers at the other Good News locations. Talked with the manager for a bit, the original owners wanted to start a brewery then add the BBQ, didn't work out. So Good News connected with them which describes the checkout process. When you go to pay, you pay two tabs, one for the BBQ and one for the beers. Different, guess it works for them. Worth a stop if in the area.“ |
