“I had to come here. One of the originals. I picked a bad time. It was a local festival. Free food but it was gone instantly and I didn't get any. Only plastic pint cups. But OTOH the place looks nice. Big. Light oak. Roomy. Nice place when it's not hundreds of people. Bartenders were slammed but were still friendly and attentive. Tried two beers and both very nice. I'd like to stop by again when they're less busy (and when I can bring my car and not spend $50 on Uber). Overall, pretty much an iconic stop“

“Swung by on a Saturday during a Cornhusker game (which wasn't as annoying as I thought it would be to this Iowa fan). Lots of interesting beers, all of which that I had were well done, although nothing was quite blow-away good (closest was the jalapeno lager). Generally describes my experience with their beers - well done, just short of being something to go out of your way for.“

“Visited June 2019. Small brewery located in a strip center of sorts. Seating was challenging but the service was good. Beers were average, with nothing particularly standing out.“

“Visited on a Sunday afternoon. They weren’t too busy, but had a small crowd. Plenty of tall tables around and with about ten bar seats. They had 12 beers on draft. They ranged from average to good. One was a standout. Nothing wrong with any of them. Service was great. The bartender was very friendly and seemed happy to be there. Overall the place was good, and right next to another great brewery.“

“Right next door to Kros Strain Brewing in a strip mall. Odd but whatever. The inside of this place was very undecorated. Felt literally like I was sitting in a plain old room with a couple small tables. Service was friendly enough with about a dozen mediocre beers on tap. I wouldn't return other than because I went to Kros Strain next door and this is only a couple steps away.“

“Located in a town center with plenty of parking, Nebraska brewing has kind of a corporate chain feel on the inside. I was surprised they only had around 8-9 taps and very few of the beers that are often seen in bottle shops. Still the beers were quite good and my lunch was solid. If I'm ever in the area again I think I'd rather mozy on towards their production brewery.“

“Stopped in 17 March, 2017. The bartender was pretty cool. We were his 1st customers of the day. The food we had was fine. Regular pub grub. My taster flight of 8 samples was $15.00. Overall I could see the customer service change as the place got busier. (they seemed like they would be understaffed for St. Paddy’s day) I don’t have anything overly exciting or negative to say about this place. “

“Visited on a Thursday night. Located in a large strip mall/shopping area. Plenty of parking. Service was above average on our visit. Selection of 8 taps, sample flights available, some bottles for sale. Food was very good. Average value for the Omaha area. Overall this is a clean brewpub, with some good beers, and decent food.“

“Location and ambiance are antiseptic, but its appealing to the Papillion demographic. Beers are solid, but the selection (of their own beers) is dominated by the standards. For a better selection, the taproom is the place to go. It’s also less busy.“

“Not a bad vibe going on, but the service was almost as bad as their tap room location. Not very busy and service was still slow. I wanted to do a flight and the waitress told me I should just do some pints instead since Sunday pints are only $2.50 and almost as cheap as samplers. I explained I was just brewery hopping and trying things I hadn’t had and she couldn’t get over the fact I didn’t want full pints. Somehow I think it offended her. FInally gave me what I wanted and didn’t talk to me again until I had to basically shoot off a flare to get her to give me the check after sitting there for 45 mins just to try 4 samplers. I’ve concluded this company is run by a bunch of frat boys and their girls and have no customer service or care at all. The 1% of jerks in craft beer are right here. The kid at the host desk by the door was also picking his nose. Great job guys. Not. Only reason this place is Nebraska’s most well known brewery is their marketing ability. Overpriced too. Sampelrs were supposed to be 5oz but they were using glasses from previous Nebraska Beer Fests and those are only 4 oz so you definitely got screwed on amounts. Didn’t eat any food but from what I saw other people having it looked pretty poor.“

“Decent suburban spot. Nice brewpub vibe, maybe a little commercial, but it’ll do. 8 house beers on at $1.75 for a 5 oz pour. Bottles are outrageous at $16/per, as they are in stores.“

“A solid little brew pub tucked away into a suburb. Value was great. Got to sample all 7 of their beers plus their seasonal for $12. Friendly service, good beer. Nice place.“

“A nice comfortable pub in a shopping complex. Brewing equipment and actual used casks are everywhere. Family run, the service is friendly and comforting. Large selection of their own stuff plus a ton of only local craft. Great place for a stop and beer is all pretty decent.“

“Visited on a Thursday during lunch time. Located in a new outdoor suburban mall on the outskirts of Omaha. The inside of the building and the food menu is a little more upscale that your typical brewpub. Approximately 8 beers on tap, sampler flights available. I think Nebraska Brewing Company is hands down, the best brewery in Nebraska. All the beers on the sampler tray were solid to great. Definitely worth a stop if you are in Omaha! The one downside to Nebraska Brewing is that the beers they distribute to Kansas City are all ~$20/750ml bottle. And while their beers are very good, I will pretty much never buy them, due to the price.“

“Nice brewpub located in a suburb of Omaha. 8 beers on tap and a selection of their Reserve Series available in bombers. Bartender was friendly and knew his stuff. Prices were good. Wish I had the time to sample their menu, it looked great.“

“This is located in a suburban outdoor mall which is a bit strange but it is a great stop. Nice, solid beer with usually around 8-10 beers on tap along with some 750’s available to go. Worth a stop if you have a car and are doing an Omaha beer tour.“

“Nice place to stop and get a beer and a bite in a parking lot full of box stores and other unique shops. Excellent service and the waitress was genuinely interested in beers. Nice decor with a dining area and the bar separated by a partition.“

“An ok brewpub in an end lot of a strip mall/outdoors mall. the place is kind of cool-very small system all right behind the bar-kind of funny. The beer is hit/miss for the most part with a few that are very tasty. service is decent but the food is fantastic! If your in this area for business or passing through, its a good stop for a long lunch break (thats what i did).“

“I love NBC. The staff is very friendly, the management is helpful and knowledgeable, the brewers are fantastic and love to educate patrons and staff, and the owners are just amazing people. NBC makes some great beers and to my knowledge is the most awarded brewery in the State! Though they dont have a plethora of beers on tap they have a variety of styles to please even the pickiest palate. They also recently started a barrel aging program that is incredible. Whisky Barrel Aged Imperial Stout...Chardonnay Barrel Aged Belgian Blond, Barrel Aged Belgian IPA.. Delicious, and award winning. You can’t go wrong at NBC. Make sure to check out The Lauter Tun which always has a large selection of NBC beers on tap and sometimes...just sometimes has a barrel aged reserve series beer in KEGS not just bottles! If you are touring breweries, make sure to hit up Upstream, Empyrean, Lucky Bucket and more!“

“Outstanding atmosphere, especially on Husker game days for college football fans. Beer drinkers will love the variety and the passion of the brewer(s)/owner(s). Spent over an hour talking to one of the owners about their brewing process and goals. Food is the legit, and the beer is probably the best for the craft breweries in Nebraska at this time. While that doesn’t say a whole lot this place has it going in the right direction. Everything was a very positive experience for me here.“

“We went to NBC on what unfortunately turned out to be a busy night. They were out of the IPA but fortunately had everything else on tap. The Nut Brown Ale, Hop God, and Cardinal Pale Ale were all amazing, as was the Saison seasonal. The appetizer was the highlight in terms of food, as the "beer battered" French Fries were really nothing of the sort. Everything after the starter was simply okay, and nothing was amazing. This could have been due to the kitchen being slammed, but we came away slightly disappointed, despite being blown away by the beer.“

“Visited on a weekday afternoon. Very cool mix of old breweriana and new brewing equipment. Had 7 beers on tap the day I visited. Most were quite good. Didn’t try the food. Bombers and kegs are available to go. I enjoyed the place and would return.“

“The place to be if you love great beer. Dark wood fixtures and earth tones are inviting. Long bar extends along one side of the brewpub. The silver fermenters and serving tanks are clearly visible. The brew system is can be viewed through windows at the end of the bar. Have 8 taps with 6 regulars, 1 brewer’s choice and a special “Tap 8” for the special Ale Nation members; NBC’s version of a “mug club”. NBC offers growlers and “party pigs” to go. The “pigs” are a good deal for parties and special occasions. The food menu has your traditional pub offerings, but many items have a little “something special” to set it apart. Recent menu updates have really impressed. For example, the crab cake appetizer is outstanding. Prices and portion sizes are reasonable. Service has improved since opening. If you’re in town, or are a local, come out and support this local brewery.“

“Went here recently and was fairly impressed. I found the regular line up of beers to be solid overall. The couple of seasonals I had were lame. The food was very nice and reasonably priced. Overall, a really good brewpub, that was spacious and clean. However, it was clean to the point of being sterile. On the way out I picked up a special Chardonnay aged Belgian brew. Interesting and certainly worth a visit if you are in the area. One thing I did not like was that I could not find the beer names anywhere once the menu was gone. The waitress got annoyed that I had to ask for the beer names.“

“This is my new favorite place. Rarely do the wife and I destroy a sampler. Thee beer is that good. The Brunette is fantastic, and the new Red is just a little bit better than that. Took home a growler of each. They also offer 2.25 gallon pigs, 5 gallon kegs and the 13.2 gallon kegs. I talked to the owners wife, and his nephew was my server, who was very knowledgeable about beer, despite looking young. The food was great! I’m glad I now have somewhere outside of Wisconsin to get real fried cheese curds that aren’t from Culvers. Beer battered fries are good too. Don’t let the boring name fool you, if you only have time for one brew stop in Omaha, this is the place you want to go.“

“4 visits so far, beer has been Very Good. Food hit and miss, service good to very good with exception of our first visit. Cracker crust pizza our worst experiance. Food presentation so so. A quick followup by management to a comment card a good sign. Beer worth the trip.“

“The brewing portion is off to a fast start. With 7 of the 8 taps available, the beer selection is very good. The ambiance is improving with some recent additions to the restaurant. Service needs to improve, but they are still new. The food is good, but still nowhere close to the brewery. I have high expectations for them. If you like craft beer, you will love this place! The brew staff is consistently present, working and talking with customers. UPDATE - Beers are becoming the "gold" standard. Recent GABF and national beer competition performances have established this brewery. Quality beer is their trademark. Food quality improving with service continuing to be a challenge. If you want nationally recognized, quality beer, you must try NBC.“

“Opening night struck by lack of ambiance. Very basic. Simple walls, stone tile floor, view of kitchen through what looked like a plexiglass shield on a bare wall. Lighting a bit bright and music too loud emphasized by lack of booths, carpet, bare walls, close tables. Lacked warm feel of other brewpubs. Good variety on menu. Was very interested in their infused burgers but the LEAST they could do was well done. What’s the point? Philly sandwich average. Beer battered fries disappointing. Bread pudding was quite good. Cracker crust pizza and wings at other tables looked good. Wheat, Wit, Irish Red, Nut Brown, and IPA on tap. Nothing stellar, but very solid considering this place just opened. No technical flaws in the beers and a good job of hitting the styles. Should leave out either the wheat or wit (too close) and add a porter or stout. Will the brewers creativity come out in more unusual offerings, or will suburbia-bordering-on-cornfields even allow it? My opinion that NBC will need a more cozy feel and provide a couple more unique beer offerings to be competitive with other bars in the area or brewpubs in town. Food needs more emphasis, i.e, was beer used in the item or is there a beer pairing with the item? I’ll definitely come back, but would like to see things a little differently to keep me from making a much longer drive to another brewpub.“
