“a typical British store with several British ales, quite ok Brewdog sortiment, a few ciders and local craft beers, as well; a bit overpriced, but still worth visiting“

“a Lidl in Switzerland with in addition to the typical beer soritment available in Lidl shops, quite a good selection of beers from Liechtensteiner Brauhaus at the time of my visit“

“an excellent beer shop at a surreal place (i.e. in a small town right next to the rails but not at the train station but around 4-500 meters away in a wooden building); re they selection (which is quite wide), I would just highlight 2 beers: La Trappe Quadrupel Oak aged batch 34 and Straffe Hendrik Heritage 2017 :) if you are a beer fan living in Vaud (or just being there for a few days), it is definitely the place you must visit!“

“Quiet, spaceous beer shop near the station in Gland with good parking options too. Shopkeeper is very friendly and hospitable. The selection is wide enough with many styles and nations represented. Especially Belgium is well represented with a good enough selection of lambic and trappist beers. Shops also boasts plenty of beer paraphernalia, flags, shirts, glasses, brewing kits aswell as some snacks. There is plenty of refridgeration too! In august the shop was cracking with IPAs and blondes, especially the local sort BFM, Nébuleuse, Captain’Mousse, 3 Dames.. as well as crew republic, brewdog,.... Which brings me to the only criticism. The best breweries of CH are underrepresented and there’s no point in having a lot of choice if the beers end up being the same. Also, there were no stouts or porters on the shelves at that point so if that’s your target, maybe inquire first. “
