“Beer store and beer bar in the village of Kloten close to the airport of Zurich. Probably most people will not get to Kloten by change but it is worth going there to visit The Crafts beer store. Nice selection (300-500 cans and bottles) with lots of imports from all over Europe and also the US and a smaller selection of Swiss beer. Not too much old classics but with a focus on modern styles and new and innovative breweries. 8 taps and most of the bottles are cooled for in house consummation. Flights are available and pretty cheap. In general the prices are lower compared to urban Zurich. The owner is nice and attentive and you can order pizza from the restaurant next door and eat in the bar. A good place to try or buy beer and worth the short trip from Zurich.“

“Thanks to anstei for guiding us here. Short train ride from Zürich and your 24 hour ticket is sufficient to get you here & this place is super close to the train station. Located in a more suburban area we were surprised when we walked in. More of a store vibe than a bar, no frills set-up filled with tables and an astonishing collection of beers on the shelves. 8 taps, flights available. We sampled all draft beer and the selection is super good from Prarie to Brewski to Swiss beers & this is the only place where I saw Storm&Anchor. Beer selection is amazing, I went as far out as getting a Polish Bourbon BA RIS & a seaweed gose. Hipster breweries from Scandinavia to USA to Switzerland to Germany etc. Somehow the barman had all of the beers cold in a small number of fridges. Wonderful service and teku glassware. Best of all prices are notably lower than in Zürich. Spectacular bit hidden away place.“

“If you dislike the Zurich prices and the hype scene around Alehouse, International etc, this is the place to go. Reachable quickly and cheaply by train, this is the quiet suburbian antiplace to what Zurich offers these days. Tons of bottles and cans of all styles, from everywhere, in all sizes - to the point where it's overwhelming, as you desperately hope not to miss anything. Cheaper than Zurich (not much, but still), friendly service, and generally a more relaxed atmosphere made my first trip out there a real pleasure. Please give this place your love, they deserve it!“

“Nice little bar close to the airport. The changing selection on tap can be checked online as well as the bottle list. They have some of the bottles in the fridge and if you stay a bit longer you can ask them to put one in the fridge if it isn't in there already. The room is small with the beer shelves directly next to the tables, so you can get a beer and than have a look what you take next, or what you take home. The selection is surprisingly good with very few standard beers. The service is very friendly and able to give informed suggestions. Definitely worth a look if you're in the area.“

“Interesting little beer bar and bottle shop in the Zürich suburb of Kloten. Selection is quite unique, very high signal to noise ratio, almost non of the standard beers one finds everywhere else. Lots of self-imported things, which are otherwise hard to get in Switzerland. Also has very local Swiss beers, which I haven't seen anywhere else so far. The bar and shop are quite small but not too busy at the time of my visit. Bar offers flights of four for 15.-, which is about standard. Prices for some hyped things are quite high but others are pretty nice for Switzerland. If you are in Zürich and don't mind the trip to Kloten or if you have a layover at ZRH, definitely visit this place.“
