“Located in an industrial building in a quiet area of Newington--definitely a destination as nothing else around there. Parking was full but seemed adequate with overflow parking on the other side of the building. Concrete floor with high ceiling, nice Edison bulbs strewn about. Beautiful long metal bar and windows behind with a view to the brewery. Wooden picnic bench tables and high tables with pub chairs. Exposed ductwork and corrugated metal for one wall. Not much sound absorption so hip hop music that was playing at the time was a bit loud, but we were also near the speakers. Decent mix of ages and everyone seemed to be having a good time. The food was excellent --Smashed Burger and Vegetable Wrap, from a one-page selection, and the beer is good, though kind of surprised they only have the 8 taps. Unfortunately, our service was abysmal, though it did not look representative. Our waitress partially spilled our flight onto my brother's lap as she brought it over (but, hey, mistakes happen). She quickly got a cloth and water bottle and, other than possibly being a bit <ahem!> overly assertive with wiping his lap for him, that was all well and good and we had a laugh about it. However, she didn't freshen up the flight, which was mistake number one. After taking and delivering our order, she didn't get us silverware (we had to "steal" settings from the host area), didn't bring over the popcorn we asked for (or direct us to where to get it if that is how it is supposed to work), I had to ask another patron to borrow her mustard since she never asked if we needed anything else, never followed up to see if we needed any more beer and we basically never saw her again (other than tending to other customers) as the hostess finally asked us if we needed the check. Finally, when settling up, the guy at the register didn't care to ask how our experience was but only cared about getting our money. Again, I don't think this is necessarily representative of the service there, but I can't leave a good rating for service based on this particular, terrible, experience.“

“It is a spacious tasting room with a bar counter and some tables throughout. Enough parking is available. They sell freshly canned versions of their beer there as well as a few taps that you cannot get outside the brewery. For example, I picked up their Barleywine there and you can't find it anyplace else. Prices are typical for New Hampshire breweries/eateries. I went there early in the day and it was not as busy so I had fairly decent service all around. But they brew some nice beer and it is worth checking out.“

“Stoneface Tasting Room is a warehouse style venue with great beer, with a limited, but often excellent, selection. Food is OK and service is average. The beer is the win and they often have excellent bottles to go.“

“Pretty big place. Looks unpleasant from outside but is quite charming inside. Nice view to a brewery from tasting room. Lots of tables to sit around. Samples were cheap. IPAs/APAs were good, everythiong else... not so good. Must visit for beer enthusiastic people if somewhere near. 12 beers on tap when I visited.“

“Stopped here on the way into town (town being Portsmouth). Got there shortly after opening and were the only patrons in the tasting room. The brewery staff were plugging away at a bottling run, so it was kind of loud. It’s a pretty typical industrial park brewery and the tasting room is really just a partitioned off area of the brewery space with a small bar and a few high top tables.

They had eight beers on tap during our visit. Just about everything was really good. The things I didn’t like weren’t really bad so much as just not being beer styles I don’t generally like that much anyway. The hoppy beers are really the star of the show.

Cheap taster pours in the tap room, good growler prices, and good bottle prices as well. I would definitely drink a lot of their beer if I lived in the area.“

“Just forgot about this place. Hard as hell to find. It’s on the backside of an industrial building complex. The space inside is tiny, but lined with great bottles (empty). The girl at the counter (Jordan, I think) was very helpful and nice to talk to. Pours were really cheap, and there was a pretty good bottle selection. The taps were limited to pales and IPAs with a golden thrown in there, but it was nice. The price couldn’t be beat. These guys are doing some killer stuff!“

“Very small brewery with sample pours for $1.25 each. An under the radar brewery near Portsmouth, these beers stole the show in New Hampshire. Great service, great bottle selection, just no seating. A place to visit!“

“In the last year they’ve expanded their draft line from 4 to 8 taps, and it’s a bit more of a place to hang out. But the real reason to come is the beer -- they’ve got all of their main beers on all the time, and they usually have one or two brewery-only releases as well. Great service and really reasonable prices ($1.25 per sample). Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the Seacoast.“

“The tasting room is set up for people to fill growlers and buy bottles and go else where. Nowhere to sit and only a very small bar to even set drinks down on. Not meant to be a hangout spot. Don’t know if they even give tours which really isn’t needed because you can see most of the brewing equipment right from the tasting room. Paid $8.00 for the double IPA, will be back for the RIS. “

“Small, pine paneled tasting room. Large windows look out into the brewing area. No where to sit. Very industrial. Free sample pours. Beers were good.“

“Stopped by here today for the first time. Small but adequate tasting room surrounded on three sides by an industrial metal building. Fermentation and brewing off to the right behind glass packaging off to the left. Free samples, growlers to go and bottle of IPA as well. They plan to bottle the pale next and eventually hit wider distribution. Decent pricing, friendly attentive staff. I would return if in the area.“
