“Visit Date 6/20/20: These guys opened up in the old Demented spot in Middlesex during the pandemic, so I'll have to update the review once you can actually go into place for normal business (if / when that ever happens). Right now, they have a little makeshift beer garden area set-up in the parking lot for drinking on site, and they are also doing cans, crowlers, and growlers to-go (with an online menu so you can order and pick-up). I liked that they were offering a mix-6 of their canned beers, a very good option for trying beers from a new brewery - basically a take home flight (but with 12 oz pours). Beers are decent. Out of these ones I've tried thus far my favorites have been a purple Saison called Stella Blue, their version of All Together, and their Red Baron Altbier.“

“Lots of beers on tap (if I remember right, 15+) ranging across BA RIS, a sour, IIPAs, coffee beer, and more. Busy when I first arrived (Sat. afternoon) but quickly died down and I got a spot at the small bar. Good service with the beer above average.“

“Here is a little brewery in north central NJ that just happens to be located near where my relatives are buried. One of them died of dementia, but that didn’t stop me from coming in here and trying the beer, which left me feeling fine, not demented at all. (I guess you can tell I’m not crazy about the name.) But the brewery and tap room were fine, pretty bare bones as I recall. They had about 6 beers on tap the day I stopped in. The design of the place is sort of rock’n’roll / heavy metal. State law requires you to tour the facilities if you want to have a drink there. Their beer is good, and I bet they will get better as time goes by.“

“Really cool little brewery located in a random kind of spot. The brewer who gave us the requisite NJ tour was really friendly, and she knew how to cover everything without making the tour take too long. Had a really good number of beers available for sampling or drinking on site, with most (but not all) available for growler purchase. I thought the beer quality was pretty high overall, with a great mix of styles (couple of hoppy beers, couple of sours, Belgian styles, darker/maltier offerings, low ABV, high ABV, etc.), so there’s something here for everyone. They had a fridge for bottles too, but nothing was available on our visit. Maybe it isn’t at the very very top, but I would definitely put this place in the upper tier of NJ breweries that I have visited.“

“A hard to find spot with very poor signage. A tiny taproom that is dark and medieval as the theme of the brewery. Service was by the owner and OK, but not as passionate or enthusiastic as others I have met. Beer was OK, but nothing good enough for a special trip. Paddle price was a average to high. Overall I wouldn’t likely make a stop here again.“

“Definitely one of the better NJ startups. The space is very cool...in an old brick warehouse. The tap room is definitely too small...I’m sure they will find that to be true going forward because I predict they will be very successful. I love the Halloween-ish/medieval mural in the tap room...that’s a winner. I see the first reviewer reported only 8 beers on tap two months ago...well there were now 12 when I visited. I loved the C-4 IPA, the Litha Citra Wheat Ale, and both the Dementia’s (single & double IPA’s). The Astarte Strawberry Cream Ale was noteworthy and sure to be a hit...even if too sweet for my palate. I would recommend making a special trip here ASAP...before everyone finds out how good these guys are!“

“Had a great time here. Took a self guided tour at first then got a served our first beer. Ran on top an acquaintance there who gave us a guided tourwhich was heating since it was first time on the floor of a brewery. Tasting room area is rather small but has a great feel. Local artist painted back wall with demons brewing beer. Really neat and suitable for the brewery. All 8 beers that are currently avaible on tap with room to add more as they grow (16 taps available). Service was fairly good but for a few a minutes I felt like my friends and I were getting ignored by the bartender until the owner stepped in and help us. Good overall experience and will definitely return. Purchased an empty growler for my next trip.“

“Small tap room set up as a medieval dungeon pub. Really cool mural on the back wall. Bar sits about six people comfortably with a few more stools available. 16 taps though they only make about 8 beers so far. Beers ranged from excellent to okay. The strawberry cream ale, double dementia and sol reaper being the stand outs. Worth a stop for sure. They are only going to get better.“
