“Visit Date: 7/2/22 Located in / near downtown Westfield. Nice little tap room, with a fairly decent sized covered outdoor area as well. Beers were solid, not exceptional, but solid. Service was good as well. Worth a visit if you are in the area, been meaning to go here since they opened, and I'm glad I finally made it.“

“The small place in downtown Westfield. The selection of wines, spirits and beers is small as well. The beer is way overpriced. “

“Surprising that there could be such an interesting and varied selection at a chain store. Rare and weir Belgian’s along Eden Ice Ciders. Reasonable prices, but no help you are on your own. A great stop.“

“Decent beer selection as well as wine. NJ isn’t the best state for shelf beer but they tend to have the more limited stuff from NJ that gets distributed.“

“Your average Trader Joes. Decent selection of craft including their own beers, which are dirt cheap and decent for the money.“

“Liquor store near my house. Selection is relatively small, but they do tend to have a few bottles that you won’t see in other stores in the area - not usually anything overly exciting, but ones you typically don’t see nonetheless.“

“Corporate chain restaurant. Average tap selection. Nothing too spectacular. Food is typically chain. Decent, not great.“

“Made a quick stop here on the way to a tasting at James’ place. Regular selection of Trader Joe’s tasty food stuffs was great for bringing some snacks to a tasting. The beer selection seemed to be on par with other Trader Joe’s I have been to, offering a reasonable assortment of craft six packs as well as the ability to mix up a six or buy singles of loose things. I’ve stopped back a couple other times now en route to other tastings. Another place that I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit, but it’s a quick and easy stop if you’re nearby. Park in the Trader Joe’s lot, which is free, rather than the municipal parking that is pretty much attached to the lot (and isn’t free).“

“A decent beer-bar in a tavern setting. Part of a local chain of restauraunts of which this one is the best for beer, by far. Good tavern fare, full restaurant menu. Beer lines are generally clean, very good selection of beers including some very good offerings.“

“When the store opened up 6-7 years ago it had much larger selection of craft beer. Now they have standard selection like few styles from Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams, Climax, standard Germans, Belgians and English. The price is slightly lower then in other stores. When I need to pick up something quickly, not wonder for hours among rows of micros, and save few bucks I go here.“

“The beer selection at the place is small which I would divide in 3 classes: 1. cheap imported macros and Mexican crap; 2. inexpensive, good Trader Joe’s (Gordon Birsch) brand and other little known beers; 3. overpriced fine beers from the likes as Sierra Nevada, Brooklyn and so on. I come here for class #2 when I expect a big company or do not feel like spending much on beer. “

“Stopped in here last year to pick up a few bottles and say hello to ATPete who has done a great job with this place. Great selection of US Craft and imports in the back left hand corner of the store. Staff (sans Pete) is semi-knowledgeable and fairly eager to help out. Not a store I’d go out of my way to visit but a solid place for great brew in that area indeed! I remember picking up some 2007 Chimay Blue Label Magnums myself. ATPete was going to try to give me a free promo tshirt from a brewery that had recently been featured, but they were out of them. Can be a bit tricky to find from the parkway so I recommend bringing your GPS unit. Reviewed on: 02-21-2010“

“Shop Rite Liquors of Westfield has a great selection of rare and micro brewed beers (I was told over 400 different beers). Highly recommended for the beer connoisseurs. I enjoy walking around and just reading about different beers. The down side is that it is very hard to make a decision what I want to buy. I want to buy everything I’ve not tried before. The prices are on the high side though.“
