Something was off with both the beers I had, quite possibly due to the lines, because the off flavours were similar, even though the beers were from different breweries. Otherwise quite a nice place. No food, as far as I could tell.
There's another craft place on the floor above, but I didn't check it out.“ |

A mix of foreign beers and domestic. Nearly all IPA or pastry stout or beer-with-weird-ingredient. Music was very primitive electronic stuff with just a couple of chords and a single rhythm. Bartender tried to explain to me that the blackberry saison was sour because of the saison yeast. It wasn't sour. It's not a bad place, but the other two I've visited were better.“ |

Beers are a combination of well-chosen foreign beers and Russian craft. The level of the Russian craft beers was high, in my opinion. Nice design, semi-loud music, food menu that looks good. Waiters take time to explain the choices and are very helpful and friendly. Was packed with locals even on a Wednesday evening.“ |

Food is okay, but not spectacular. That said, there aren’t a lot of good restaurants in Kazan so it’s worth eating here or at one of the German-themed beer bars. Prices are reasonable, considering the swankiness of the hotel. Beautiful view of the Kremlin. Prices in euros. Beer is pretty good.“ |
