“Great little brewery in the small charming little downtown of Chatham. Stopped in for a lunch and a day later for a beer and beer to take home. The food was solid. Nice sandwiches and burgers with a kids menu as well. They had a sports bar vibe with lots of TV's and also some outside seating if that's your thing. Looks like they have some live music on a small stage area. The staff was friendly and helpful on menu choices as well as beer knowledge. The beer itself is slightly above average. They have come a long way. I really enjoyed their IPA offerings and the Farmers Daughter was a nice sipping and sessionable everyday rye IPA. I ended up taking home two of their 16oz 4 pk's of fresh IPA's. The tap menu itself was pretty diverse with some regulars, a few IPA's, plain styles and a limited time draft. Everything was fairly priced and the total experience was great. I wouldn't go out of my way, but if you find yourself in this area this is a good stop for eats and good beer.“

“Reached towards the evening and found this to be the largest of the six breweries I had visited so far. They had 15 beers on tap, in such a very small town! The food menu was quite good as well. The four beers I tried as the flight were mediocre but I also purchased 6 others in can for later on. I wonder how do they even survive in such a small place.“

“In the door around 3 on a Sunday. Small crowd at the bar, but still plenty of seating at the tables. Live music playing when I got there, loud to the point that it made ordering and communicating difficult. Regardless of whether the music was good or not (I personally wasn’t a fan), I have to question having a group that is that loud playing over everyone in such a small space. That’s the only aspect of the visit that would make me not want to come back. Fifteen taps, with 14 being their own, and one local cider. Flights of 4 for 10, or individual samples for 2-3, and then 12oz or pints range 5-6. There’s food as well, small menu with a bent towards Asian influenced fusion stuff. I had a noodle salad that was pretty good. Beers here are all clean and well done. They’ve been certainly stepping up their quality in the last few years and are now quietly making some really good stuff. A good amount of styles that aren’t seen as often anymore, with a schwarz, kolsch, doppelbock, to go along with the hazy ipas, imperial stouts and such. Certainly worth a visit (just hopefully you get here when all sounds won’t be drowned out by bad local music). “

“Nice visit here. Had a sampler plus a pretzel from a truck cart nearby. Service was excellent and very friendly. Beer was excellent as well. Wish I had more time there.“

“If you are out this way on a Saturday morning, Chatham Brewing is a must-stop. If you get there bright and early, you can try everything they have for free. They will also fill your growler with whatever they have on draft, and if you are interested in trying their 22oz specialty beers, they will pop one open for you. The gentleman we have talked to every time we’ve showed up is genuinely interested in what we think of the beer, and takes the time to talk to us. Just picked up a keg of the 8 Barrel Super IPA at a great price for a great brew. They are currently building a new (indoor!) tasting room up the street; I’m excited to see how that turns out!“

“I had a tough time finding this place! I was on my way home from a recent business trip to Albany and decided to take the Taconic Parkway so I could make a side trip to this brewery. After three times up and down the street, I parked the car and asked directions at a local eatery. Pointed in the right direction, I found the building that houses this small nano brewery. I had a great time talking with the brewer and everyone there could not have been friendlier. This place is a gem and the beer is quite good. I will be taking the Taconic home more often!“

“Located down the alley on Main Street between 20 and 22 Main Street. The location itself is a small nano brewery. They have a 1 barrel setup and an overhang that they fill growlers of whatever they have available. Growlers cost $15 or $12 for a refill. Bring cash and call ahead. Their beers are very good and worth seeking out.“
