“Situated high above the Keuka Lake valley, a beautiful view awaits. Well crafted beer is available in a gorgeous setting, modern brewhouse and taproom. Deck available to be njoy the view. All the beers were spot on, great service, local economy focus. Well worth the visit.“

“Located just outside the city on the highway into town. Newer construction, pre fab maybe. Bar with one stool, tables high and low, deck out front. 14 taps, good service, dead on a Weds afternoon. Beer needs some work.“

“While getting thirsty in Hammonsport, Patty and I stopped in Village Tavern Restaurant for a quick one. A very nice looking old timey place. I got my beer quickly from a impressive list. Outdoor seating too. Enjoyable time.“

“A great little roadside brewery with a tasting room where, in addition to tasters for $3, they also sell growlers and t-shirts. There’s an interesting collection of growlers too, including an unusually old one which I think was from Buffalo. The proprietor, who changed career to set up the brewery with a friend, was very welcoming and friendly. Well worth a stop. (Visited 2 November 2012).“

“Finger lakes Beer Trail Winter Passport ’15’ with Joe, Dan H and Steve H. Buy a flight get one free so we were able to have all 8 beers here. Nice clean place, all new. Will be nice on patio in the summer. Talked to the owner and others. Enjoyable.“

“Nice place to stop in for a beer. We were doing the winter passport 2 days ago and found out Finger lakes beer Co. closed for the 1st week of the passport! So we stopped here since it was close by. We had a good sampler of 4 while discussing beer. They pulled out a couple growlers of new stuff for us to sample too. Very thankful!“

“The Keuka brewery is atop a hillside above the western shore of Keuka lake, which is shaped like a lopsided letter Y, giving the brewery its name and its symbol. The opening hours are seasonal, so check before you go. The tap room is fairly plain but it was very friendly and welcoming. Tastings were $3 and you can also buy growlers, t-shirts and other bits and pieces such as local photographs and pottery. (Visited 2 November 2012).“

“Stopped in for a beer while wife and daughter shopped nearby. Boasts of 130 beers, had a short list on the board of maybe a dozen, including plenty of locals. Food seemed pricey, but I didn’t try it to see if it was worth it. Pleasant little find, for such a small town.“

“The owner is really outgoing and friendly, which creates a great atmosphere. They haven’t been around for very long yet, but they do brew some very tasty beers. My favorite was their red, which my husband and I bought a growler of, and they had a delicious stout that had a coffee and chocolate finish. I also really liked that they kept small samples of the malt they used for different batches, so when you taste a beer they let you smell the malt so you can see what flavors come from it. I know I’ll be back there next time I’m in that neck of the woods!“

“Very small, very local craft brewer located on Lake Keuka in Hammondsport, NY. Brewing ales ranging from raspberry wheat, belgian witbier, pale ale, American red ale, AIPA, Nutbrown ale, and stout. $3 for unlimited tasting, and $2 off purchase of growler if you pay for tasting. Small gift shop sells merchandise and growlers to go. 22 oz bomber are to appear at a future date. Draught accounts are limited to a handful of local places in the Lake Keuka area. Beers a very well done, very flavorful, and a nice to be able to get good local beer in Finger Lakes wine country. Well worth a stop if you find yourself in the Finger Lakes area of New York.“

“Nice little joint with one of the better beer selections in the region. I give an A for selection, a B- for server knowledge, and a C- for the improper and somewhat dirty glassware (everything in a chalice). But, bonus points for having Westy 8, and 1995 & 1996 Samichlaus, and I even got the last two bottles of Boon Pertotale which has come along nicely. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.“

“Unexpected beer find. Orval, La Fin Du Monde to name a few. Somebody put some thought into the sizable list they have to present. The food is exceptional also, way beyond pub grub.“

“I lived in the Finger Lakes area of New York for years and had no idea that among all the wineries there would be a place to get beers from all over the world. The service was awesome. They were out of a few beers I wanted to try, but what they didn’t have they made up with a smile and a recommendation. I even talked with the owner for an hour at the bar. Although I didn’t eat there menu was so large I don’t know if I could have made a choice anyways. I have to thank my awesome friend Jodi for showing me my new local bar when I am home visiting. The only draw back is that a lot of the beer prices for Belgiums were crazy high! Then again I live in Germany so its easy for me to just drive up the road and pick it up, not so easy in NY.“
