“dinner with a buddy and his wife. Another crazy busy place for a thursday night. Took a while to get seated. Tap list was pretty decent, had about 50 beers on tap. Food menu was also large and pretty interesting. I had a sandwich which was pretty damn good. Service was adequate. Prices seemed inline for the area. I would come back on a less crowded day.“

“Great surprise to find this place. Didn’t have much time, so just had a growler fill and some samples. Helpfull guys, both the one i wrote with beforehand and the one in the bar. On the pricy side i would say, but super good selection! Food looked great, cozy darkish place. Highly recommendable if you are visiting the Niagara Falls and would like an alternative to casinos for spending your money.“

“Not much to write home about, although maybe ok for the area. Small store with a few shelves of bombers and a bunch of 6 packs. Service was fine both times I was in.“

“This was a really great spot! Over 50 taps with tons of range of locals, regional, national and a few international well chosen beer. Service both times I was in was excellent, food was delish. Sat back in bar area second time and it was great. A gem.“

“not a pretty place, but especially for an out-of-towner who lived here before he was legal, the new distro selection is fantastic. LOTS of Craft brews and Canadian swill varaints not available the further you get from there.“

“Better than expected with a decent selection of regional craft brew and tons of Canadian brews not available out west.“

“Supers tap list, an owner passionate about beer, and served fresh and at the right temperature. This is for the Clarence location, which seeks to even get better. Military Road the original, did not like it as much.“

“Tables and booths inside. About 50 taps I think and the beer menu is separated by style. Ok service. Flights available. Food was pretty good and lots of interesting choices I’d like to go back and try again. I had a burger. About $50 for two people lunch and two pints. All the beer was available in 16oz or 22oz glasses.“

“Not many beers, but what they had was top notch. Many anniversary beers, some Maine Beer Company stuff, and plenty of big beers. I was quite pleased. Was weird though, but six bombers and they jammed them in a cheap plastic bag. Plus no carts or carrying totes. Discouraging volume buying. Prices were okay. Service was okay, front desk guy knew his stuff.“

“Typical beer/liquor store ambiance, though the one staff member there did know his beer. Smaller store so the selection suffers, but prices are in line with other stores in the area. Some Hoppin Frog that isn’t at Premier bumps up the selection a bit. Growler fills are a plus. A bit out of the way from anything touristy but probably the best store this side of Grand Island.“

“Friendly staff. I mulled over beers and wandered around for an hour and they bore with me. Has most that Wegman’s has and more, but doesn’t let you split up sixers. About ten taps of growler draught when I was there. A good import section with lots of Danish and Belgian goods. Lots of imp stouts, Belgian styles. A few cheap bombers ($4) and the rest usually fall in the 7-12$ range. Filled up a backpack of beer here but unfortunately couldn’t go crazy for fear of raising the wrath of Canadian customs.“

“They have a bigger selection than I assumed from the previous comments, but then again it’s the first beer place I’ve been in the U.S. Was pleasantly surprised that they now have a craft-your-own sixer section with lots of choices. Pulled a sly move and even snuck in a victory Dark intrigue. That was extra points for service right there as the old cashier didn’t notice. They have a big Belgian section with most of the stuff you can get in LCBO but at higher prices but also have some extras. A lot of odd Germans as well. Big bomber selection divided into West Coast/east coast. Eyed the New World Triple, excelsior and Ruination. Would go back if I was in Niagara again, if only for the craft your own sixpack section.“

“A hard one to rate. Not much to look at, and the selection isn’t extensive. But the ones they’ve got are well chosen, both domestic and foreign. Lotsa space in the aisles. Helpful staff. Very handy if you’re coming from Niagara Falls, Canada.“

“Great grocery store overall with a fairly solid beer selection in the back corner. Unfortunately, most of it sits forever. Stick with new releases and seasonals or risk getting old tasting beer. If you’re going grocery shopping, it’s a pretty swell place, but if you’re going beer shopping you’re better off going a couple miles down NF Blvd to Consumer’s where they have a better selection, with a higher turnover rate, and do growler fills.“

“they often have fresh Stone IPA ang DFH 60 but I would never recommend buying any other IPA from this location, 95% of the time it has been way too old for me. great selection though, and very close to the border.“

“I’ve been here a few times and I just want to warn if you pick up some of the imports or some of the less popular crafts, unless you know if has just been released odds are its gone bad. I have a few instances where the quality of the beers I have bought from here were poor and I believe it to have been because things purchased here are risk of being there for a while before sale. So just be aware of that. That being said you can indeed find some real jems here that are fresh as can be. They have a nice selection of everything here. Imports locals and all over crafts, worth a look“

“Easy to miss this place unless you know its there. Appears small from the outside. It isnt a huge store but they make good use of the space. Lots of macro large packs towards the left and back of the place. but theres coolers full of six packs and singles towards the back right in the middles theres a few shelves lined with craft seasonals and imports. Definitely worth a stop if your in the area looking for some craft brews“

“For a grocery store, the craft beer selection is phenomenal. Two large aisles, a couple of fridges, and a double-sided rack of mostly American micros, with a very respectable range of beers from Belgium, Germany, and the UK. Sierra Nevada (Bigfoot, Torpedo), Great Lakes (Burning River, Elliot Ness), Stone (Ruination, IPA), Victory (HopDevil, Prima Pils), and Rogue (Mocha Porter, Brutal IPA) are particularly well-represented. Lots of bombers from St. Bernardus and Brouwerij Huyghe as well. I grabbed a six pack of Edmund Fitzgerald Porter for $8.99. Service is average since this is a large chain, minimum wage grocery store. But I found a cheap sixer of world class beer and a shaker glass to drink it with, so I’m not complaining. Certainly a spot to consider if you happen to be in Niagara Falls, or passing through to Buffalo (like we were). Recommended. “

“The good: has everything you can find at Wegmans and more, with a dozen or so taps for growler fills. Huge variety, well-organized shelves, lots of refrigerated craft beer. The bad: grisly, unwelcoming employees, dumpy location with a deserted, sketchy-looking parking lot, fulfills every stereotype of your typical cheap American liquor store (overly bright lights, dirty floor, customers smoking beside ice box out front). A destination for its gigantic selection, just don’t expect to be ’wowed’ by the service or aesthetics. “

“Not a huge selection, but very close to my house. Growler fills are a huge plus. Some bottles are available as singles but others can’t be broken up. Not quite the selection available at premier but a bit cheaper.“

“The closest of all of the Consumer’s locations to Toronto with a pretty solid selection. Like others have mentioned of this chain, they don’t split up six packs, but otherwise the selection of bombers are the best you’ll see. The import selection pales in comparison to Premier but I suppose that is to be expected. Awesome selection of rotating growler fills is great and reasonably priced. It’s definitely worth it to stop at one of the locations during a trip to the area.“

“Finally, a decent beer stop in Niagara Falls! Nice selection of regional micros, and a few solid imports. Better prices than Premier Gourmet, and the ability to have growlers filled is a huge plus. They’ll fill pretty much any growler you bring in; it doesn’t have to be a Consumer’s growler. My only major complaint is not being able to split up 6 packs or buy singles. Oh well. It’s definitely a solid stop.“
