80 /100 The Upper Deck Bar and Grill (Restaurant) 214 1/2 W MAIN ST Patty and I had dinner there last night as we have several times before. Love to be outside watching the water and ships. Some salmon were jumping yesterday. The have a few nice craft selections on tap. More craft cans available. I had a nice Evil Twin beer that was very recent produced. Nice place and service. |
68 /100 212 W MAIN STREET Brewpub on the harbor of Lake Ontario in the small downtown of Sackets Harbor. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. The bar itself is fairly small, L-shaped, with some TVs. There were about 6 house taps, mostly basic styles (amber ale, pale ale, porter, stout, IPA, etc). I found their beers to be average/ok, not standouts. They also had a guest cider on tap (Critz Farms). The food menu is fairly large, slightly upscale leaning. I just had a cup of the seafood chowder, which was ok. My husband's salad looked mediocre. Overall, it's not a place I'd seek out, but if you're in the area it's worth going to (there's not much else). The town is very charming. |
78 /100 212 W MAIN STREET Great location overlooking Lake Ontario. Tried only their homebrewed beers--the double IPA was tremendous and the rest were also good. Food was good and prices were tremendous (not unusual in Northern New York). |
64 /100 212 W MAIN STREET The brewpub is in a neat location on the bay. It’s great to sit out on the patio when the weather allows. They normally have 7-8 beers on tap at the brewpub. They do serve a sampler platter if you want to try what is currently on tap. However, with the exception of the 1812 Amber, the brews tend to rotate. Along with the 1812 Amber, the St. Stephens Stout was quite good. The Steamroller Ale (IPA?) I had was more of a Pale Ale. The food is quite good although the price seems a tad high, but that probably is due to the seasonal tourists. Worth a stop if your in the Watertown, NY area.

72 /100 212 W MAIN STREET Very cool restaurant/bar area. Service was outstanding as was the food. Disappointed in the beer selection however - only a handful on tap, none of them really jumping out at me. Overall, a great place for dinner and a beer, but not if you’re just looking for a beer. |
28 /100 212 W MAIN STREET Quite an experience. Amazing looking place but that stops there. Service was terrible and the beers were unimpressive. Overall: the only pub that I know that serves nono of their award beers. The fact that they have not won any since 1998 is a good indication of what we drand that night. |
40 /100 212 W MAIN STREET For sure, this BP is really classy, wooden walls, similar to an old ship. However, the beer is rather subpar. Last medals one back in 1998, and the beers served that night dont show that. Service was inattentive, but this was a busy Saturday night. |
44 /100 212 W MAIN STREET Fair high ceiling dark brown pub. Limited lighting. Large bar. Mostly friendly service. Not quite worth seeking, but it’s almost on the way from the 1000 islands border crossing. Average selection, harmless beers. |
44 /100 212 W MAIN STREET Typical harborfront brewpub. Small bar section with a large supporting restaurant. 20’ long mohogany bar with two bar stations of 8 taps each. They usually offer Root Beer at one of each stations. An average brewpub with wealthy yatching patrons. There were only 5 beers running when we visited. |
