“Linville Falls is a very small place with just a couple of establishments. Lack of mobile reception adds to the remote in middle of nowhere feeling. However this lodge with adjacent bar is a real gem. I believe the bar used to be called Spear's BBQ before pandemic struck. Not sure if it has particular name now, but it is owned by the same family as the Lodge and is located right of the reception house. It's a medium sized bar, somewhat dark which adds to the Twin Peaks ambiance. I was the only customer for couple of hours which made me appreciate the very friendly service and a chat which I had with Pam the barmaid. Beerwise they had two Highland beers, a stout from D9 and Dales Pale Ale. Frankly more than expected. It closes quite early at 7 or 8. Worth visiting if you're in town (it's pretty much an only option).“
