“Very limited opening hours, but worth the effort. Small taproom that is just tables in amongst the tanks. Staffed by owners. Knowledgeable and care about their beers. Gigantic dog. Very authentic vibe. Beer is very good.“

“Not that far from Asheville and reachable by taxi, getting back was bit of a challenge but we managed to find a ride back to the city. Small taproom with brewing equipment in the back. Seems to be very popular with the locals. Friendly service. They had 9 taps on and couple of bottles. Quality of beer was very good to excellent. I'm glad we went out of our way to visit this place.“

“Visited 3/2020. First I thought why bother to come so far from my hotel but gladly I took uber from Asheville and came because this place was amazing! Open only on THU/FRI 13.00-18.00. Pretty small place with bar desk in the corner. Actually not much room just some barrels as table and some random chairs around. 8 beers available + 1 cask. Samples were ridiculously cheap 1-2$ and bottles 0.5l to-go 9$ very cheap. Quality of the beers was excellent. Had here best belgian style tripel brewed in USA ever. Must-see place for every hardcore beer traveler. You can't find this kind of places from everywhere.“

“Located a few hundred feet from Zebulon, they also have a parking lot next to the brewery. Small room with a decent sized bar as well as decent sized patio. The beers were solid enough. All of them seemed to be at the lower end of the ABV spectrum.“

“These are my favorite kinds of places. It's just a small garage in the middle of a small town but the ambiance was off the charts. I loved the storage closet that was built in the form of the Tardis. Given the size it fills up quickly yet still retains a relaxed vibe. Even by Asheville standards, the prices were fantastic especially if you did the 2 ounce pours for a dollar. I'm definitely looking forward to visiting again.“

“Smallish place with a very small town vibe, but pretty popular. In fact, it got pretty crowded for a lunch on a Tuesday. The service was prompt and friendly, though, so that's cool. They only had 4 of their beers on - I'm not sure if that's the norm here or not. Also, there was a stage, and I imagine it gets pretty loud when bands are playing. Plan accordingly.“

“It was very busy the entire time that I was there. They have limited seating in the front and outside. There are four beers on tap plus two guest taps. The food was good and the servers were kept busy by the never ending flow of people.“

“Time warp pizzeria from the ’70s sort of thing. One large room and a covered sidewalk porch up front. Four house beers on offer, the one I tried was OK, plus a guest beer and a cider. Pizza was OK, and they also had sandwiches and (oddly enough) quesadillas. Servers were very busy, so no time to chat. An OK spot if you need a bite.“

“Small bar in the front end of a seven barrel facility about 15 minutes north of Asheville (not many Ubers or Lyfts coming out this way, so allow plenty of time). Mike and his wife were both pouring beers while their giant puppy entertained the customers. Mike did a great job of explaining everything to both newbies and brewers who happened to be drinking. Each beer was more amazing than the last, and all were unique. Two ounce pours for a buck meant it was easy to try them all and still survive to tell the tale. One guest tap in a hoppy style that Mike doesn’t really do. Bottles to go as well. No food. Mike’s stories were great too. I hope they never change.“

“Visited while on the way to Zebulon. A country feeling greets you ina quaint pizza joint. A medium sized bar with about ten tables as well. A selection of six beers, half being their own. While the beer was average, the pizza was great. Had a Caesar wedge salad that was huge. A great chicken pesto pizza as well that made for leftovers. I wouldn’t seek this place out based on the beer; I just had a pint as I ate. However, the food and service was above average. I would eat here often.“

“Visited while on vacation. A small tasting room in a garage style warehouse. Only about four barstools at the bar and seating/stools for 12-15 more people maybe. Pretty sure the bartender is the brewer and the wife was also helping. Only small pours of everything. Either 2oz or 5oz. I guess all the stuff on draft is pilot batches and only done 10 gallons at a time. Bottles are done on the 7bbl system and available for purchase to go. I believe some of the tasters were poured from bottles. An interesting selection of 10ish beers. About half were saisons or sours. Others ranged from New Zealand IPA to foreign stout. All were very nice and above average. Hopefully this place does well so they can get a larger facility. That’s the biggest detractor. Beer was good enough to make me want to return“

“A two garage door warehouse space with a small bar and seating area that is no frills and a collection of patio furniture and bar stools. it’s mainly a production space. They pour either 2 or 5 oz samples from bottles. Except for the beer they had on cask. You could have a pint of that. Interning beers, limited choices. Probably on people here would appreciate as the average beer drinker would like all the farmhouse and saison influence. Met the owners, nice enough people, there was a food truck outside. Bun Intended was there this day. Overall a great little place to visit, maybe a half hour North of Asheville, depending on what part of town you are staying in. My score makes it look low, but it’s better than the sum of it’s parts.“
