“Well, it’s definitely a pilgrimage to get here, not just because of the distance but because of the kidney-jarring Africa-rough roads. You arrive in sort of a gift and bottle shop, then someone whisks you away into a room, could be big or could be tiny. Not thinking of the puritanical beer laws, I visited on a Sunday, so only 4% abv beers were available. Fortunately they do flights of four, although the flights are pre-set and can’t be varied. As others have mentioned, the food is never ending. It’s what my Sicilian family called pasta asciutta, the normal dry pasta you can cook in quantity well beyond the al dente stage. Tasty enough. service was really good, attentive friendly and helpful. Still, I miss sitting at a bar. Not worth the trip on a Sunday because of the beer limitations, not sure about other days.“

“cool and unique place. from the outside, it just looks like a "cracker barrel" esque sort of place-very down home country looking. in the inside, the same. however, they have created a little tap room in the back where you can sample basically 20 beers from both choc and Prairie. I sampled 2 choc and 3 prairie brews-all were very solid! i was very impressed. service was very oklahoma female friendly-love the ladies here! If your passing through here, it is definately worth a stop, since they have some good Prairie stuff on tap as well as the more rare/seasonal Choc brews.“

“The most incredible Italian food I have ever eaten, and in huge quantities. They serve Choc and Prairie Artisan ales that are wonderful. The service was exceptional, and for the prices were good for what you get. A must stop place if you happen to be driving through Krebs, OK.“

“Stopped by for lunch. Ate in the bar area. Nice service and a decent selection of their beers on tap and guest taps. Average bottle selection. Menu was only Italian. Very nice location, too bad it is so out of the way. Worth a visit if you don’t mind the drive.“

“Stopped in while working in the area. A unique place in a small town, a bit off the main highway. It is primarily a restaurant with a brewery out back so to speak. The restaurant is broken up into rooms. The meals served are very good with ample portions, although a bit pricey. They have about 4-5 of their beers on tap and a number of bottled beers to choose from. None of their beers are to die for, but of decent quality. Not bad, considering this is Oklahoma with archaic laws still on the books. This was a nice change from all the steak and BBQ places in the area.“

“No bar area so don’t go thinking you can belly up and tick off ratings. They offer many of there beers in bottles and 4 taps. The peach beer was something else. Pretty much a high end resturant in a not so high end town. I would not drive 40 miles out of my way to try it again, but if in the area stop in. The people were super friendly and the service was great.“

“A nice place in small town Oklahoma. An interesting place to say the least. Most people eating at the restaurant are seated in their own private rooms. The food was a bit expensive, but is basically all you can eat. Excellent pasta and meatballs go along with fresh garlic bread and typical Italian desserts. They had most of their beers in bottles, along with a few draft selections. Just about everything beer-wise is widely distributed expect for their Peach Ale. We enjoyed the stop and recommend it!“

“Stopped by on a Sunday (which led to be a BIG mistake). The place is in the design of a house, so the seating areas are small rooms, which can sometimes lead to a slightly awkward private dining experience with a stranger. I ordered the Grilled Chicken Breast and the portion was enormous! They bring out a large salad, bread, a huge plate of spaghetti and meatballs, and then your entree. A lot of food for the value. I asked to order some beer and the waitress promptly informed me that she can not sell me any alcohol over a certain percentage on Sunday, mandated by state law. So I didn’t end up trying any there but I picked up several bottles from another place the previous day. Silly state with silly laws.“

“stopped by here awhile back because my brother had asked me to bring some of the choc beer back. this place looked to be pretty upscale and i hear the food is outstanding. i am a little disappointed with the service just for the fact they would not break a six pack for me. cant say a whole bunch for the selection because i only saw the 2 different six packs they had available. i will stop back again sometime to try the food.“

“I stopped by here while I was visiting in-laws in Oklahoma. This is a nice place, I showed up around 12:30 PM before they started to serve food. One of the employess offered assistance and I said I was there to try some beers. He lead me back to the kitchen area where they had some taps. I tried a few beers and one of the assistant brewers, BJ, came by and started talking to us about their beers then showed us around the brewery, the botteling area, and the warehouse, and shared the history of the place. I enjoyed my time here and BJ was very helpfull, Thanks BJ! Next time I’m in the area, I’ll stop by to eat as well....!!! I hear the food is GREAT!“

“When I visited they were upgrading the brewing equipment, so there was a row of fermentors and boiling pots in the parking lot. Inside it was rather busy, being dinner time on a Saturday. We were seated quickly in our own private room with a small table, and the sliding door was kept mostly shut for privacy. The entire restaurant is made up of these small individual dining rooms. Sampled the four beers they had on tap, including Choc, which I’ve had multiple times in the bottle and from the tap but I made a point to sample fresh tap from the brewery. The brewer seems to be expanding his lineup, adding one-offs and new experiments, so things are looking up. However, if you visit Pete’s Place, you can not miss the food. Expect to pay about $25 for dinner and a couple of beers, but the food here is so worth it. You order your main course: sausage, pasta, fried chicken, whatever, and they all come with the same sides (unlimited): salad, bread, spaghetti with meatballs, and cheese ravioli. Yes, those are all of the sides, and it’s unlimited, but good luck putting down a whole two plates. The amount of food you get is tremendous. Don’t eat anything other than a small breakfast on the day of your visit. It’s worth that much planning.“
