“Did not expect a brewpub here. As Reid eloquently put, Mitchell seems to be in the middle of nowhere, but actually is not far from the tourist trail linking the nearby Painted Hills and John Day fossil areas. Still, this is a dusty sleepy old town, largely consisting of one short street, that has no intention of changing much any time soon. Tiger Town is a quaint bar run by an intriguing owner with 5 of their own beers on draft plus a guest cider. I have to agree with the mysterious wild west feel. Flight was super cheap - five 4oz samples for $7! Food also served, but we decided to pass. Beer quality wasn't the best, but the brewer seemed enthusiastic.“

“Smack dab in the middle of nowhere Oregon.Mitchell. pop. 300 odd This is the strangest little place..like an old wild west drinking den....used to be a tire shop back in the 60s..but looks so authentic. Only 3 of their own..a few guest taps..some wines..has food but didn't try. Nice service. Strange little town and brewery..something Steven King could base a short story on.“
