“Last stop of the Friday bus tour of RBSG16. Big open space, though the ceiling feels a touch low, maybe it’s the black plastic. Fairly packed around 6PM. Staff here was great, and very accommodating to a bus full of people who had been drinking for 8 hours already and had a bunch of reserved tables with flights coming. Everyone got food, we worked our way through the other 8 (out of 12) beers that we had not tried yet, and everything was lovely. Super friendly staff, good food, good beers, worth the stop. “

“Even tho I hate traffic in town, this place was not too hard to find. Yes, some traffic on a friday noon, but not bad. From outside, it is apparent this place is serious about beer. Impressive large place with lots of parking. Whew! Walk into a very friendly atmosphere. Not crowded at lunch time, plenty of seating. Very large bar and pretty big seating area with tables and such. Can see brewing process from inside and out of this place. Outdoor seating too that makes you think you are out in the country. Beer menu is clear and easy to see and there is a handout for exactly what makes each beer thank you. Courteous help, big thanks Joy! Good beer, friendly, easy to find near the city, good parking, decent food at a medium price and good looking eye candy, what else can be said? I had a few drafts but they also have 5oz samples of anything on tap for $2, NICE! For the price, a decent place with milder brews that won’t insult anybody, truly on style.“

“Visited with the RBSG group. The place is away from town in a somewhat rural setting. Large, dedicated parking lot. The building is pretty large, and has a pretty big dining area inside and outside. They also have a grassy area to attached to the patio for children to play. They also had a couple cornhole boards set up and people were playing while we were there. They had around 15 beers on tap, all their own. The beers ranged from mediocre to good. Prices were in line with the area. Food was pretty good. I ordered the perogi brick oven pizza. I was really happy with the service here. Our waitress did a great job keeping up with our beer and food orders, and was knowledgeable about all the beer she brought to us. She even kept us up to date as beers kicked and new ones were added. I would come back here.“

“Huge family-friendly spot with more of an open restaurant feel relative to other breweries in the area. Nice outdoor area with cornholing goodness. Beers were variable: I really loved one, loved another for being unique (but not sure I could have regularly), found 1 decent, and found 1 sub-par. Pizza was enjoyable and above average. I definitely want to return because they can make some great beer, but consistency would determine whether I’d make it a must-visit.“

“Huge space, patio in the back, and area for cornhole. Friendly and accommodating staff that knew their beer. Enjoyed the pizza and the burgers looked awesome. Great place to bring your family. Beers were solid and came in 3 pouring sizes. Nice stop.“

“Very clean place, lots of families. I think they have it locked down for a place with good food and decent beers with plenty of inside / outside seating. Parking lot was packed for dinner. Beers were pretty good. I enjoyed my pizza and soup immensely. Staff really shined though and were very accommodating.“

“A huge spot that is just stunning and a bit commercial but still great. Service was good and if they couldn’t answer a question they found out for you. Brewer popped by to chat which was nice. Beer was solid and flights available. Prices were good and pizzas were pretty great. A bit out there but I thin worth the drive.“

“Visited for RBSG 2016. Large modern place, a bit of a drive, but not bad. Inside is plain and modern. Outside is a hunk of concrete that looks like a leftover overpass section, which overlooks more tables and cornhole games. Beers were solid, and a nice variety of styles. Pizza was OK. Young staff was working hard and took good care of us. Good stop.“

“Plenty of dedicated free parking right in front. Typically big pretty nice grocery store. I was asked if I needed help. They were doing some remodeling with the beer area and were nice. They have a mix & match six pack reasonably priced, but not enough for me to put one together. They also have beers on tap for growlers or with a meal. Prices are really good for PA. I wouldn’t mind coming back.“

“A new brewpub in Pittsburgh. It’s located in an industrial style building - large ceilings, large bar, lots of tables, large TVs. There were approximately 8 taps. I tried their pumpkin ale, porter, Belgian IPA, and black IPA. Mostly they were ok, although the Belgian IPA was quite good! The menu mainly features pizzas. We got the pulled pork nachos, which were good (slightly above average) and one of the pizzas, which was ok. Overall, I expected a little more from this place and came out disappointed. The beers were average and the food also left something to be desired. I don’t see myself returning, and there are much better new breweries in Pittsburgh.“

“First time on Saturday 17 Oct 2015 to try out the new place and samples. We tried all 8 items they had on tap and sadly enough I can say we didn’t really like any of them. I brought my growlers with me just in case and went home empty. The facility is nice. All new, wide open space with bar, tables, view of the brick oven. Plenty of parking. I wanted to try their special perogie pizza they were advertising but they didn’t have it ready. They had been open for almost 2 hours and didn’t have their special, that sys a lot right there. The deScriptions of the 8 beers we tried sounded really good. There were at least 4 I thought I would have to choose from to take home but they all fell far below my expectations. We ordered the Rolls Royce pizza for ~ $14 and was a little surprised when it came out. Very thin crust like flatbread and only the size of a plate. The meat looks like it was placed on after it came out of the oven and wasn’t even warm. From the first impression it appears it would be a nice experience but the limited food menu, availability of specials, and the quality of the beer made this trip somewhat disappointing. They have ~ 30 different beers that rotate so maybe I’ll have more luck if I ever go back to try some others.“

“Made the trek on a Saturday evening. Parking lot was packed, place was packed. 30 minutes in found a place at the bar. Must have been a much desired option in the area. Everything was brand spankin new and nice. Wait staff was friendly. Beer was decent enough and the food was pretty good. Not sure I’ll go out of the way to go again unless the beer improves but if you’re out that way it is worth it.“

“Expanded the Beer section in April 2012. Selection has gotten much better. Taps are always filled with mostly local brews. Food is always great!! You need to check it out.“

“A solid distributor with a decent amount of craft and import cases. They keep up with seasonals as well. Beer tastings occur occasionally, and the staff is always very friendly and helpful.“

“Better prices than a bottle shop, but this is the smallest selection of all the Giant Eagle locations that I’ve visited. ***The Village Square Market District is right up the hill. I highly recommend you just go up there if you’re looking for better selection than this. Same as other Giant Eagles, the ambiance is killed by the grocery store atmosphere and the staff are friendly, but no little about beer.“

“Way better prices than a bottle shop. Not as many bottles as the Robinson Market District, but more bottles than the Giant Eagle on Library Road. Same food as other Market Districts, decent. Ambiance is killed due to the huge parking lot and grocery store atmosphere. The staff are very friendly, but they don’t seem to know much about beer.“
