“Terrible service from uneducated beer people. The events are ran without a single thought put into them. Food is half decent for bar fare. Overall, Not worth the brutal drive when Philly has so many nice establishments with excellent service. Won’t be back.“

Comments: Not sure why I am here, thanks Kevin. They held a "Zwanze Day Hangover" party with a better tap list and bottle list than normal. Bottles pours of Mamouche, Vigneronne, etc were available but something like $11 for 5oz pour. No thanks. Tap list did include some interesting beers from Trois Dames and Evil Twin as well as local PA oddities. Prices seemed steep, pours were a bit small even for the non-Cantillon I ordered. Glassware wasn’t exactly correct. And our server was a very poor bar tender- not good at multitasking and left us hanging for a long time and then would give us too much attention bordering on hawking. This is two story and the bars have different tap list. Only you can’t order beer from one and sit at the other, so that’s silly. The effective tap list then when you are there is 1/2 of the beer they currently have. Pretty poor setup. Overall, it is probably the best beer bar in a 20 min radius if you happen to be in this area. “

“Rebuilt after a fire -- the inside is nice with two floors, nice decor with a unique wood carved colonial mural - the downstairs is more of a dining area with a bar on the other side, the upstairs has a small band area, large bar some dining area and a small outdoor patio .... service was prompt, our server didn’t know much about beer, but they had a nice updated tap/bottle menu which made it very easy to communicate .... 32 taps had a nice variety of styles and brewers and the bottle list was a nice mix of styles as well ... the food was awesome the ribs, burgers were ordered at our table and they were excellent and the sides were tasty and fresh .... overall the prices were average and beer was fresh ... seek this place out its a craft beer winner with great food“
