In the near future they should be able to do tastings onsite as well as bottles to takeaway. Michael and Lee-Ann are some of the loveliest and most interesting people you can chat to about beer in NZ, as well as putting out world class saisons, Belgian ales and sours. Will definitely be a must visit for beer tourism in the South Island.“ |
| 78 /100 1 WANSBECK STREET “Large brewery with taproom in front. The taproom has lots of outdoor seating with nice Harbour view. About 14 taps I think, with only their own beers, also some bottles. Didn’t try the food but it looked very good (pizza, salad, soups) with vegan options. Friendly service and low prices for the lighter beers and standard range. Specials were more regular bar price. Nice spot to visit in a nice area of town. Recommend.“ |

The staff was nice and it’s easy to have a short chat with the brewers, because the brewery is just behind the bar and you have a good view on the nice new brewery.“ |
