“Admit that it is not my favorite brewery, but the place was hopping and I know others that really like it, so take my opinion as you will. I did enjoy the visit and the patio - which may soon be a bit too hot in the Texas summer. They draw quite a crowd on a Saturday afternoon.“

“I fixed the location on the map, per Travlr comment below - should be good now. Visited late afternoon on a Wednesday. Brewery is just off the main highway, and is well marked by signage. Brand new facility, tasting room and outdoor patio out front and a sizeable production brewery behind. 11 house beers on tap as well as core 4 beers available via cans. Design is metal and concrete, very modern feel. Tasting room has 4 picnic tables, 2 high tops inside as well as plenty of room to stand by the bar. Great service, proud to talk about the beer and quick with samples of the beers. Pours are available as 10 oz, half pint, pint and 6 beer sampler tray. Fun place.

76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)

I only use the total score, not the component parts.“

“Visited late afternoon on a Wednesday. Cool corner place on a block in Dripping Springs which had a number of historic looking buildings. Parking was on the street, though seemed abundant. The store itself looks like it was used in a Western. Seating out front, two smaller rooms inside and a large beer garden out back. Selection is 18 draft along with about the same number in bottles and cans. Difficult to tell what was a house beer, I believe they just had one on during my visit. The rest of the draft selection is Texas craft, and well chosen. Very much had a joint feel to it, filled with local regulars. Service was great. Interesting stop.

“I stopped in simply because it is not a far drive from Jester King. The venue itself is pretty nice. Lots of outdoor seating, a band playing decent music and plenty of games for customers to play. ( oversized Jenga) People seemed to all be having a good time. Sample flights are in the format of choose as many as or as little as you want. I choose 5 and it cost me $10.00. I’ll let you be the judge of the beer without any comment from this guy. “

“Checked this out when in the area to visit Jester King. The location is nice, open and pretty scenic. Building is nice, indoor and outdoor seating. 10 beers on tap, with a wide variety. Food truck was here, but I didn’t have anything from it, worth checking out.“

“I enjoyed the open, peaceful atmosphere on a lazy Sunday afternoon. But was rather hoping to have a barber Shop beer when there, but that was not to be. Did enjoy the selection and thought the Real Ale brew I had tasted a few miles fresher than ones in Austin ;;)“

“This is a newly opened production facility in a giant tin warehouse, with a large tasting room up front. A dozen or so picnic tables inside, and almost as many on a covered patio outside. Plenty of parking. Samples were two bucks each, and they had six or so beers on. All are lager variants, some better than others. The map is wrong, it’s about ten minutes south of 290 on route 12, not north. No food. Worthwhile if you’re at Jester King anyway, like lagers, and have some time on your hands.“

“Visited October 2011.

Stopped in one afternoon shortly after they opened. Interesting theme and story. This is an old barber shop apparently and there is plenty of room in the back for people to sit and drink beer. They only had one house beer on at the time (Floyd) and a bunch of guest beers, and a few dedicated locals to drink it all. Nice people and a cool place in a dumpy looking town. Prices are alright and they don’t serve food. Probably wouldn’t drive out here from Austin or San Antonio unless they were doing a large event.“

“Stopped in while touring the Austin area. There was a festival going on in town so plenty to do. Because of the festival the brewery had a few special beers on, but the selection was mainly rotating guest taps of other local breweries. The service was quite good considering the large crowd that was surrounding the bar. Prices were great on the beers! I thought this was a bit of a diamond in the rough and worth a swing by if you are out to Jester King.“

“Decent selection of craft beers which changes routinely. Large selection of wine. Nice, home like, rooms for privacy if desired and a large open area for bigger gathers. Owners and staff are knowledgable, helpfull, and friendly. Nice place to start or end your evening.“

“Lovely place. Has a nice selection of mostly Texas beers, maybe 20 taps, and a very long list of bottles. Nice enough for a date, with live music on occasion, but also suitable for a daytime excursion with the family. Friendly, knowledgeable staff are very helpful and will even let you sample a few before you commit. Owner/brewer focuses on English Style Ales, and hits the mark quite well. Dogs are welcome, and prices are way cheaper than Austin, plus you can actually park. Stands out among the many other notable breweries and pubs in the area. There isn’t any food available beyond bar snacks, but patrons are encouraged to pack food in or order from one of the local restaurants that deliver. I always enjoy this place and bring any and all visitors that I can. Worth the trip because the people are sincere and thus far I haven’t been able to fit the customer base into any one group.“

“Stopped by after the Jester King anniversary party for their 1st anniversary party. quite a lively place packed with locals. only had one house beer on and a few other texan beers. a decent place but why bother? one house beer at a time won’t get me clamoring back.. my mohawk seemed to be the talking point with everyone there..“

“Small and cozy. They have a good number of local beers on tap as well as their own offerings. They also have a good selection of bottled beers. The bartenders are knowable about their products.“
