“Most off all a very nice and cool restaurant. You can see the brewing equipment at the end of the restaurant. It is also a hotel. A hotel with a good restaurant and good beer made on the premises? What more can you ask for. Fårø is also a really lovely island. You can use the bicycle to Suderstrand beach. Lovely area.
Not many places to buy beer from Fårø Brewery at this island. Some of them are off course available at Systembolaget. You are off course not allowed to take the beer with you from the restaurant. So order a good lamb and some good beer....enjoy life.“

“Summer 2015, the owner of the restaurant opened up a small brewery - Fårö Bryggeri - at the back of the restaurant building. He received good help from Barlingbo Bryggeri on Gotland who moved their 100 liter test brewery here. Thus, Fårö Bryggeri is both the inhouse brewery for Fårögården restaurant and the test brewery for Barlingbo. At any time, the restaurant will stock 10-15 different bottles of beer, most of them brewed at Fårö Bryggeri but some also brewed at Barlingbo. During my visit they offered a wheat ale with raspberry, a beer with mint as well as more standard styles such as a very good smoked beer, an IPA and a brown ale. The food at the restaurant is really local, the leg of lamb was from lamb raised on the farm where the restaurant is located, and very good - perhaps the best meal I’ve had on Gotland. Service is very friendly, so is the atmosphere (it’s very rural), so I came back both nights I spent on Fårö island. Last visit: 2015-08-13“
