68 /100 Ray’s Tavern (Restaurant) 25 SOUTH BROADWAY Enroute stop. Very tasty b rugers, small but interesting taplist featured m ainly Utah beers. Friendly staff and locals. Good stop. |
64 /100 Ray’s Tavern (Restaurant) 25 SOUTH BROADWAY The dearth of beer places in southern Utah did not fully sink in until I was on the road, heading north up I-15 and east on I-70. Thankfully other Ratebeerians knew of and posted Ray’s Tavern. Green River, Utah is fairly desolate and Ray’s Tavern fits the bill as a small town watering hole where rough riders and tourists grab a burger and beer before continuing their journey. We found the place easily and parked nearby. We both had nicely prepared cheese burgers and house-cut fries alongside a couple Utah micros. The beers were served cold in chilled pint glasses, not entirely unwelcome on this mid-90 degree day. They offered 6 Utah micros and a few macros, the latter mostly in bottles. This was certainly a welcome stop on our way but not a destination. |
70 /100 Ray’s Tavern (Restaurant) 25 SOUTH BROADWAY Nice little small town cafe/bar. The burgers and steak looked and smelt good but I didn’t eat. 8 taps with a nice long bar. Some seating in the front area and in the back room. A pool table in the back room.
Friendly service. |
76 /100 Ray’s Tavern (Restaurant) 25 SOUTH BROADWAY Stopped by here in August ’14 on vacation on the way to Moab. Quaint little small town bar and grill with friendly locals and tourists on their way to and from Arches and Canyonlands National Park. Had a few Utah breweries represented - Uinta, Squatters, Bohemian - and a few macros. Menu is limited, but the burgers we had were outstanding. If you find yourself in East-Central Utah, this is probably about the only place you are going to find with a beer - so don’t pass it up! |
60 /100 Ray’s Tavern (Restaurant) 25 SOUTH BROADWAY Ray’s Tavern has a few taps, primarily from the Uinta Brewing Company. Really excellent burgers. Good sort of homey atmosphere. Pool can be played in the back. If, for whatever reason, you find yourself in Green River, this place is worth visiting. |
