| 66 /100 Systembolaget Sundsvall - Birsta (Beer Store) GESÄLLVÄGEN 3 “Easy to visit by car if you are driving E4, the main highway outside Sundsvall. More than 300 bottles and cans available. I did not bother visiting the store in downtown Sundsvall. Birsta is a retail area with free parking. This Systembolaget store had some bottles from the limited selection release but I was seeking bottles from local breweries. I filled my shopping cart with beers from Ljusdal, Stenhammaren, Dykes, Hernö and Bröderna Bommen. Nice! (Visited July 21st 2018)“ |

| 76 /100 BANKGATAN 11 “Part of big chain, typical UK pub set-up. Nice selection of UK beers, but also local brews which I am after, Good service. Had a nice local brew and a pleasant chat with the bar tender. Can only suggest this pub when in Sundsvall.“ |
| 88 /100 BANKGATAN 11 “Glider in en tisdag eftermiddag och är ensamma gäster. Trevlig kille i baren som bjuder på lite smakprover från kranarna. Bra blandning av klassiker, trendigt och lokalt. Ganska stor kyl med tyngdpunkt på belgiskt. Tar en varsin törstsläckare och delar sedan på en Thomas Hardys 2005 till bra pris. Kommer in lite gäster under tiden och beställer mat som ser riktigt god ut. Härlig atmosfär i klassisk bishop-stil, slitna skinnsoffor och härlig biblioteksavdelning. Sitter i drygt två timmar och under den tiden spelas det inte en enda dålig låt. Besök här rekommenderas.“ |

All alcoholic beverages above 3.5% ABV you wish to buy in Sweden and not from a "Systembolaget" store, you will have to buy at a pub or restaurant, for consumption at the place where you purchased it. Minimum age requirement 18 years, the pub itself might opt for another age limit though, making it so you need to be older still. Alcohol at 3.5% ABV or lower may be for sale to take home at regular stores that have a permit for it, age limit 18 years, ID may be required. This store: Used to go here quite a bit, though been a while. Back then I spent roughly every other weekend in Sundsvall, so I got quite a bit of my beers from this store. Centrally located, easy to get to when in central Sundsvall. This was before the rather big boom among Swedish µ-brewers we’ve seen the past 6 or 7 years, but even at this time they had a more than decent selection and good service.“ |

This store: Located a fair bit outside of central Sundsvall, fairly easy if you’re driving, not so much of not driving. There’s another "Systembolaget" store in the center of town if you’re after "take with you alcohol" when in Sundsvall. Not been to this store in a while, but was decent enough.“ |

| 66 /100 BANKGATAN 11 “Just a 50-100 meters from Irish Pub you fins this place along Nybrogatan. Didn’t try the food, and the place was rather crowded at about 8 in the evening on a Thursday. The service from the staff was a bit so-so, and I was a bit amazed that this Bishops Arms apparently sell no less than 0.4 liters off any draught beers. Selection beerwise is quite much like any Bishops Arms, but they had 3 Swedish micros on when I visited.“ |
