“The beertender/receptionist already knew my name when I arrived after 4 3/4 hours drive from Tromsø. Long tap row. Great hamburger. Local guests, and some NATO guys speaking english. Local originals and girls with big butts also frequented the place a busy friday evening. Local Kiruna beer. Location is in the old town 3-4 kms to the west from New Kiruna City, Great place. I guess it's the only beerspot worth visiting in Kiruna.“

“Systembolaget w Kirunie to calkiem niezle miejsce na zakupy wyrobów alkoholowych. Jesli chodzi o piwa to ich miejsce nie ustepuje mocniejszym alkoholom. Wybór calkiem niezly, najwiecej z Skandynawii, calkiem duzy wybór jest tez piw w Belgii, Niemiec i USA.“

“Visited on a Thursday evening in June 2017. Both the bar and the restaurant was quite crowded but I managed to get a table. The food was excellent (I had an Arctic Char=röding). The selection was decent, I found one new local beer, Tjers Swiro. A good place that will be better when they have a beer list.“

“Visited on a Thursday evening in June 2017. A typical Bishops Arms with a decent selection, although no local beers. Not that crowded so the service was good. Located in central Kiruna, around 5 minutes walk from Scandic Ferrum Hotel.“

“Bar / Steakhouse inside Scandic Hotel. Keep right when entering the main hotel entrance. Modernized premises. Good service. Some ok beers from tap. Live music some weekends.“

“Kiruna is a mining city, which is moving its city centre due to finds of iron ressources under the city. Whether SystemBolaget will be located at the same place the coming years, is not certain. The range of beers is quite alright considering the small size of the city. Good planning and entering early is a good tip if you use your car, because this shop has not its own parking, so you ought to use standard street parking. Helpful staff and good order.“

“Nice food, good service. Few but high quality beers. You want to eat fairly early becasue when the kitchen closes, at 10 pm, the music is turned up and a lot of young kids start filling the place. Then it’s time to move to a place with a better selection of beers.“

“Situated in the middle of Swedish Lapland and five to six hours by car from Tromsø, this is perhaps one of the best beers places in the extreme north (beyond the Arctic Circle). We were 10 people who took the trip from Tromsø and spent a weekend here. Enough beers on cask, tap and, not at least, on bottles to keep us busy for the weekend. The hotel connected to the pub was in the same building and so was the local Systembolaget. You could, in fact, walk from you hotel room to the pub and to Systembolaget without going outside. The cask menu consists of British ales from Fullers and Shepherd Neame. Apart from the fizzy stuff on tap there were a few decent ones from Swedish microbreweries. The bottle selection was the best part of it all, including craft beers from Sweden (Dugges, Nils Oscar), Denmark (Mikkeller), Scotland (Belhaven), Belgium, Holland (De Molen) and USA (Anderson, Southern Tier). Rather expensive, though, even for a Norwegian. A very cozy place, especially the laid-back library section of the pub. Great food, too. Friendly staff, however, some of them in need of better knowledge about their beers (Visited 27th- 29th April 2012).“

“Medium sized "brown pub" in the middle of Kiruna. Good-looking. Dividied in two parts. Five taps for cask-ale. 19 for keg. Lots of exciting bottles in the cupboard. Service could be better. Surprisingly crowded on a Thursday evening in August. OK - but limited food menu . This must be the northernmost location for serving cask ale in the world!“
