“Solid modern beer bar with warm but clean interior design. Big and diverse selection on tap, and appearantly they hade plenty of interesting bottles as well. Only minus post was that the bartender insisted that the obviously bar infected Gänstaller Bock was fine.“

“Probably the premier place in Linköping - a serious craft beer place. The insides, despite the Dutch connection, are classic pub fare. Knowledgeable staff, friendly. Definitely didn't seem to have "41 taps" but plenty enough, though some interesting local ones were out. Pastore and Nerdbrewing on tap along with a bunch of Swedish beers and so on. A must-visit when it town, despite the hefty prices.“

“A fancy, upscale restaurant next to the Stångån river with a nice patio and classy interior. Professional service. Carried beers from Vreta Kloster (loved Den Blonda Nunnan) and stuff from Centralbryggeriet, Fors, Nääs if Iremember correctly, and the new brewery - Omma, all from central-western Östergötland. Some less interesting non-craft stuff is in offer too. Food we didn't peruse this time, seemed fancy enough, apart from the complementary bread & butter, which was quite tasty, so props to the place. Amusing to hear "beer expert" stories from some guests. All in all, a pleasant place to visit and get some rare ticks - and the score would rise higher from a non-beer perspective!“

“Visited for the first time on a Saturday early evening during Linköping Beer Week. The place was rather crowded but the service was nice and fast. The selection was ok, a normal Bishops Arms I would say. Located close to the Central Station.“

“Visited for the first time on a Saturday late afternoon during the Linköping Beer Expo 2017. The place was quite crowded but we managed to get a table. The service was good and polite. I only had one beer from Centralbryggeriet, the selection was ok but nothing spectacular. The food was decent, I had a schnitzel. The interior and exterior reminded a lot of Bishops Arms.“

“Visited on a tuesday, pretty crowded. Seemed most came out for the food. Nice selection of craft beers on tap, 8-10 rotating as it seemed. Quite a big place, quick service, nothing to complain about really, worth a visit. Did not check out the bottle selection.“

“One of the better BA pubs I have been to. Good food, decent pints, a good menu and a typical BA selection of beer. Skilled, friendly, attentive staff and a nice area makes this a good place to go in Linköping.“

“Visited first time Saturday September 12, 2015.
Was there when they opened at 1600, stayed until shortly after 2300. Early on not too many people, got filled up later on though. Standard taps a bit boring, but they do have interesting guest taps on, at least this evening. Decent to very nice bottled selection with several bottles I hadn’t seen before. Fast, nice service. Very nice food, albeit a bit posh and perhaps a bit pricey for myself. Two bathrooms downstairs, with a bit of a line, but upstairs in the other restuarant "Storan" (same owner) had a few more if you knew about it. Downstairs place in a basement with brick vaults, dimmed down lights, soft music, plenty of tables and chairs. Also possible to hang by the bar. Lots of people seem to come here for the food, then a fair bit for the beers as well. Sampled part of a special food and beer pairing for another party, then had a meal of the slow cooked pig side, most excelelnt and tasty indeed. Rather new place, if I remember opened in October 2014, so closing in on one year now. On the corner of "Stora Torget", in parts of the basement for the Elite Hotel. I wouldn’t drive here, didn’t see and parking nearby, but so central that driving feels over the top. I can see myself going back next time I’m in town for sure! Preics for beer rather fair when coming from Göteborg at least. Small outdoors seating upstairs, though you might get some traffic right next to you. There’s an elevator from the top floor if stairs is a problem for you.“

“Visited the day before Linköping BeerExpo 2015, on a Friday. Got there when it opened, was only for exhibitors of the BeerExpo for this evening.
Had a couple of great bottles at very nice prices, ate a sort of stew that was very tasty. Nice friendly service. Very good selection of bottles, also some interesting taps. Though it might be hard to get in if you’re not a student, if you’re in Linköping and am able to get in via a friend or whatnot, well worth it!“

“Visited for the first time during Linköping Beer Expo 2015. Started by eating an entrecote with kroppkakor. The food was tasty although a bit pricey. Before leaving to the Train Station (located close) we moved to the bar that was more crowded than the restaurant. The locals were friendly and the service polite and seemed to be knowledgeable. I liked the selection, both on tap and the bottles. If visiting Linköping again I will for sure visit De Klomp again.“

“Regular grocery store with a decent selection of craft "folköl". I’ve seen bottles from Dugges, Hantverksbryggeriet, Bryggeriet Fängelset, Jädraås, Jämtlands, Strömsholms, Grebbestad, Train Station, Södra Maltfabriken, Nils Oscar and more over the years. Usually 20 or so different craft beers as well as loads of macro beers available with some seasonal rotation.“

“Pub for university students. Big variety on bottles, less on tap (only 5 taps at the moment). Beers from all over, USA, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden etc with new beer released every week. Very low prices compared to other pubs in the area. Food is okay and cheap. Definitely worth a visit. If you are not a student, hook up with one and they can let you in.“

“De Klomp is easily the best pub in Linköping. It’s quite cosy, the food is good and the staff know their beer. It’s especially nice if you manage to catch it on a quiet night. The downsides: some of the staff can be a bit forgetful when it’s busy and the food is expensive (although usually of very high quality). If you’re in Linköping on a Saturday it’s fun to go along to one of their regular beer tastings. Otherwise just pop in for a quiet drink and see what interesting beers they have on tap.“

“One of the better places in Linköping. Nice selection on tap and bottles but the prices are on the high end. Service has been slow both times I’ve been here. One time I it was close to empty and still slow.“

“Place smelled heavily of vinegar and was incredibly hot and unaerated even though it was almost empty. Staff was incredibly slow and uninformed. Selection was very nice with plenty to try both on tap and in bottles. Food looked good but I did not eat. Value was very expensive and price of smaller glasses was rediculus in comparison to full glasses. A huge disappointment but I’ll give them another chance in the future.“

“Riktigt bra restaurang. Här tramsar man inte med högrevshamburgare och kallskuren lardo på surdegsbröd. Högklassiga rätter där både kött och fiskalternativen testades. Kunnig och trevlig personal som verkligen brann för det de gjorde. Mycket duktiga på att föreslå dryckesalternativ. Om du har vägarna förbi, boka bord för en helkväll.“

“Not too impressive. 50-ish bottles in the fridge (some Mikkeller and To Öl stuff) and 20-something different taps, of which 10 or so are eurolagers and variants of it. One "crazy" tap that wasn’t that interesting. Some decent beers though. Bottles are quite expensive, as is the food. The food’s quite good though. There’s a few rooms in the back of the place which have a nice ambience, but the main bar is a bit rowdy and noisy. The staff were OK, but I felt really neglected at times. Had to wait 5 minutes at the bar to get the table we had booked.“

“The pub is only for university students but if you can get in it is really worth it. They have 10 new beers every week and about 200 beers as a total (80 beers doesnt change and are standard). The prices are low, especially on the usually expensive stuff. They only have 5 taps but many beers on bottle.“
