| 68 /100 Bofors Hotell (Restaurant) HYTTÅSVÄGEN 12 “Quite an upscale restaurant in an upscale hotel - but we weren't there for lunch this time, but to try the house beer - Disponent Lager from Karlskoga Bryggeri (89 SEK/0.3l) - which is a good beer. As always, it was a slightly weird situation getting a single beer (times two) and a few glasses - but there you go, weird legislation makes for weird situations. The young man serving us was quite enthusiastic by their offer - apart from offering this they make their own liquor from what I remember, which is very cool, of course. The patio outside is beautiful and it was very pleasant sitting outside and drinking this. Unsure what the rest of the selection was, giving a tentative 7 for now, to be perhaps raised. Certainly a positive experience, though it cannot get that big a score due to RB's place rating system. However, these people are pros and it's a very good place.“ |

The tap selection is poor but will change supplier after late summer 2015...
A real english pub in Karlskoga, standard selection Guiness, Kilkenny Staropramen x 2, Falcon + a few more + some botles. The invoirment is like Bishops Arms...

Irish and English beers are on offer. The pub sometimes hosts live music. On one visit they also hosted a whisky tasting club. Worth a visit, it has a friendly atmosphere and is popular with the locals.“ |
